Death investigation launched after Regina police find man's body near Marshall Crescent

(David Prisciak/CTV News) Regina police have launched a death investigation after a man's body was found near Marshall Crescent early Friday morning. Officers were called to the scene around 2 a.m., upon arrival they located the body of a deceased man, a Regina police news release said. The area was secured and police's major crimes and forensic identification units responded to the scene. Regina police said the man's name will not be released at this time, adding there are no further details with the investigation still in its early stages. Anyone with more information is asked to call Regina police or Crime Stoppers.

Man injured in single vehicle crash on Lewvan Drive involving pedestrian: police

(David Prisciak/CTV News) Regina police say a man was significantly injured in a single vehicle accident involving a pedestrian on Lewvan Drive early Thursday morning. Northbound traffic was restricted on Lewvan Drive from Ring Road to Gordon Road for a period of time, but police say the public can now resume normal activities in the area. Police did not say the extent of the man's injuries, adding that an investigation is ongoing.
