Ohio investing nearly $1M to support businesses
COLUMBUS — The Ohio Department of Development announced the release of nearly $1 million through two state-funded programs that will support business expansion and strengthen infrastructure.
REGIONAL 166 DIRECT LOAN
The Regional 166 Direct Loan Program promotes economic development, job creation, and job retention by providing low-interest loans to businesses with limited access to adequate capital from private funding sources.
2840 LLC will receive $750,000 to assist in financing the purchase of a 10,948-square-foot industrial warehouse and office located at 2840 and 2880 Centennial Road and 2901 Grandwohl Road in Toledo (Lucas County). 2840 LLC is a real estate holding company formed to lease the project real estate to the operating company Power Brushes, Inc., and three other third-party tenants. Power Brushes, Inc. manufactures industrial power brushes for the glass, food, turf, wood, trommel, and printing industries. The project, estimated to cost $7.25 million, will create three new full-time-equivalent jobs and retain 20 existing jobs.
