Arms Billionaire Strnad Overtakes Kellnerova as Richest Czech
Michal Strnad, whose arms company started out selling decommissioned Soviet tanks and military gear, has overtaken Renata Kellnerova as the richest person in the Czech Republic. The 32-year-old tycoon's net worth is $17.1 billion after his wealth surged $7.9 billion this year, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, making him also the richest person in Eastern Europe outside Russia. Kellnerova has a fortune of $16.8 billion.

Richest Woman in East Europe Plans PPF Shakeup After Record Year
Eastern Europe's richest woman is revamping the management of her business empire after a string of divestments spurred record profit. In her first comments to a group of reporters since her husband and PPF Group NV founder Petr Kellner died in a 2021 helicopter crash, Czech billionaire Renata Kellnerova said Chief Executive Officer Jiri Smejc would step down next month.

East Europe's Richest Woman Seeks Key Share of Prague Top Hotels
Renata Kellnerova, the richest woman in eastern Europe, is boosting her footprint in real estate by buying a second hotel in Prague, setting herself on a path to control the biggest chunk of the luxury hospitality segment. Investment company PPF Group NV, owned by Kellnerova and her family, is seeking to take over the Four Seasons in the city's Old Town, the Czech anti-trust office said on Monday. The facility, owned by Northwood Investors, offers 157 rooms, with some overlooking the iconic 14th century Charles Bridge.
