Rosie O'Donnell Shows Off Weight Loss: ‘I Can't Believe This is Me'

Rosie O'Donnell showed off her weight loss following her recent move to Ireland. The former Rosie O'Donnell Show host, 63, shared a new photo via Instagram on Saturday, May 24, in which she credited the weight loss medication Mounjaro for her new look. 'I cant believe this is me now,' O'Donnell wrote, along with hashtagging the photo with 'mounjaro,' 'weightloss' and 'bodydismorphia.' Mounjaro is an injectable medication that is used to treat type 2 diabetes and has shown effectiveness in weight loss. O'Donnell first shared with her social media followers in March that she was taking Mounjaro as part of her diabetes treatment. 'I've lost more weight. I am on Mounjaro for my diabetes and one of the side effects is you lose weight," she said. "But it's also because I had a chef for over two years in Los Angeles and I don't have a chef now. It's me cooking for Clay and me.' She continued, "I'm one of those people who always had a weight issue and now that I'm a size large — instead of an XL or a XXL — I find it shocking. I really do. I find it completely shocking." Mob Wives star Renee Graziano recently revealed a 52-pound weight loss that she credited, in part, to using Mounjaro. She added that 'right supplements' and 'doing all the work behind [her] insecurity' were also responsible for her fitness journey. Rosie O'Donnell Shares How She's Lost 10 Lbs in Less Than 1 Month 'I've battled self-criticism in the past! Ripped myself down to the ground!!' Graziano, 57, wrote via Instagram. 'I truly was so sick and tired of my life and my inability to lose weight so I thought I'd eat until I felt better THAT NEVER HAPPENED, I felt like I was constantly falling short—of how I 'should' look, feel, and keep up with what society tells us is acceptable.' Graziano went on, 'That's why, when I see photos that show the real, visible change, my clear eyes and genuine smile, I have to share. I want everyone to know if I can do it, you can do it! It's all possible!!' Amy Schumer has praised Mounjaro as well, revealing she adjusted more easily to the injectable medication than its competitor medication Wegovy. (According to WebMD, Mounjaro is classified similarly to other drugs such as Wegovy or Ozempic because they all contain GLP-1, which assists in weight loss. Mounjaro is designed to help diabetes patients with weight management, with common side effects including nausea and diarrhea.) 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Star Dolores Catania Is Down to 'High School Weight' of 130 Lbs 'Three years ago, I tried Wegovy,' Schumer, 43, said in an Instagram video in March. 'I was puking, I couldn't handle it. I don't know if they've changed the formula, whatever. But anyway, I went on this Telehealth meeting with [virtual care clinic] Midi Health, and it was cheap. I wanted to try it myself 'cause I wanted to recommend it to my friends who are nurses and teachers.' She added, 'They put me on estrogen and progesterone because I realized I was in perimenopause and my symptoms from being perimenopause have disappeared. My hair is fuller, my skin is better, I have more energy, I want to get down more, if you know what I mean. I'm talking about sex. So that's been great and Mounjaro's been great.' Meanwhile, O'Donnell moved from the U.S. to Ireland with her 12-year-old child, Clay, in January. The actress exclusively told Us Weekly in April that the pair were now settled in Dublin. 'There's a great, great school there. And Clay has done very well. And they were really welcoming,' O'Donnell told Us. 'And I love the little town, the little village. It's in the heart of Dublin, but it's still a village where you know the name of the grocer and you know the name of the cashiers. People are unbearably kind in a way that shocks me every single day.' O'Donnell admitted to Us that she was surprised to see Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi leave the U.S. as well, to resettle in the English countryside. 'I've never really known Ellen to say anything political in her life, so I was surprised to read that she left because of President Trump. Like, that shocked me, actually,' O'Donnell told Us. 'I've been a political person my whole life, not better or worse, it's just a different way to be in the world. I was very clear about the reason why I was leaving, and I don't think it came as a surprise to anyone. We're not really in each other's worlds, and it's been kind of awkward but you know what? I wish her the best. I wish that she has peace and love in her life and that she is OK.' O'Donnell's fans will next see her in season three of Sex and the City sequel show And Just Like That…, which premieres on Max Thursday, May 29, and new episodes drop weekly.

Mob Wives star Renee Graziano reveals incredible results of Hollywood weight loss drug

Mob Wives star Renee Graziano has revealed the incredible results she achieved after using the popular Hollywood weight loss medication Mounjaro. Mounjaro, which like Ozempic is an injectable originally developed to treat diabetes, has been taken by celebrities ranging from Meghan Trainor to Whoopi Goldberg. Now Renee, the daughter of a former consigliere to the Bonnano mafia family, has become one of the latest famous faces to shed pounds with the help of the drug. The 55-year-old has been posting up a storm to her Instagram page, proudly displaying her slimmed-down figure in swimwear and fitted clothing. In the caption of one snap she posted this week, Renee trumpeted: 'OH BABY IM DOWN 52lbs … I love sharing my weight-loss journey with y'all because truthfully, I've been so hard on myself behind the scenes.' Baring the emotions behind her weight loss process, she wrote: 'I've battled self-criticism in the past! Ripped myself down to the ground!! I truly was so sick and tired of my life and my inability to lose weight so I thought I'd eat until I felt better.' Renee wrote: 'THAT NEVER HAPPENED, I felt like I was constantly falling short—of how I 'should' look, feel, and keep up with what society tells us is acceptable.' She encouraged fans: 'That's why, when I see photos that show the real, visible change, My clear eyes and genuine smile I have to share. I want everyone to know if I can do it you can do it! it's all possible!!' Renee dished: 'Between taking my weekly MOUNJARO shot for the 1st 5 months, the. making sure I took the right supplements (dm me I will share what take) weekly chats with my therapist and doing all the work behind my insecurity, I haven't felt the need for a plastic surgery short cut'. She clarified: 'Although I do believe whatever makes you happy and doesn't jeopardize your life do it!' confessing she uses 'a little Botox' and a 'touch of lip filler.' Renee, who has been candid about her turbulent struggle with substance abuse and is currently on the wagon, discussed the impact of her physical transformation. 'The substantial amount of weight that I have lost really has made me feel and look younger than I have in a long time,' she wrote. 'My mind is clear and My body has transformed, and more importantly, so has my confidence.' Renee told viewers: 'Whatever goal you're working toward, know this: you can do it. Be patient. Be kind to yourself. And don't give up. But always remember if your like me your recovery must come first!!' The mafia scion was arrested and charged on suspicion of DUI in January 2022, after she crashed her Nissan Murano into an empty parked car. Renee, who is pictured in 2017, wrote that she was 'truly was so sick and tired of my life and my inability to lose weight so I thought I'd eat until I felt better' She later spoke out, insisting 'no drugs or alcohol were involved' in the incident, that she 'never' appeared before a judge and that her case was 'thrown out.' More than a year later, in September 2023, she suffered a near-fatal fentanyl overdose after which she had to learn to walk again. The life-threatening ordeal prompted her to go to rehab and get sober, and she has since been frank about her previous struggles with substance abuse. Renee confessed to 'self-medicating' with drugs as she coped with various personal crises, including the death of her father Anthony Graziano and the collapse of her marriage to mobster Hector 'Junior' Pagan. Mob Wives was infamously rocked by scandal when Anthony was sentenced to a year and a half of prison after Junior wore a wire to surveil him for the authorities. Now Renee feels that she was 'was never addicted to drugs' but used them as a 'comfort' amid the tumult in her life, she told Page Six last year. 'In some strange way, I think sometimes that self-medicating kept me alive,' she said. 'Because I think if I would have really had to live through it without medicating, I might not have made it. That's the truth, and I don't even like to talk that way.'
