Metro gets RDSO certification & heads towards CMRS now
Bhopal: According to officials on Monday, Bhopal metro has now secured official certification from the Research Design and Standards Organization (RDSO), a Railways subsidiary.

The metro service is set to commence operations in October.
MPMRCL authorities have confirmed that the Bhopal Metro priority corridor (Subhash Nagar to AIIMS Bhopal, about 7.5 km) has reached a crucial stage of completion. The preparations and paperwork for the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) inspection are being expedited with increased urgency.
During Monday's inspection, MPMRCL managing director S Krishna Chaitanya conducted a detailed site assessment. The evaluation covered the segment between AIIMS Metro Station and DRM Office Metro Station, including a thorough review of the Subhash Nagar Depot. The visit focused on examining CMRS-related sites and monitoring the progress of construction activities, officials said.
