419 Expats Arrested Across Kuwait for Visa and Labor Law Violations

KUWAIT CITY, April 13: In accordance with the directives of His Excellency the Acting Prime Minister, Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, and as part of ongoing efforts to uphold the law and enhance national security, a total of 419 individuals were arrested for violating Kuwait's Residency and Labor Laws. These arrests were made during large-scale security operations conducted by the General Department of Residency Affairs Investigations across all governorates of the country. The campaigns took place on April 8, 2025, and during the period from April 6 to April 8, 2025. The Ministry of Interior reaffirmed its commitment to continuing these field campaigns as part of a comprehensive security plan aimed at apprehending violators. It emphasized the importance of everyone complying with the country's laws and regulations. The Ministry also urged the public to cooperate with security personnel and to report any violations.
