Celebrities Are Using This One Accessory To Make Their Outfits Better Right Now
What do Elsa Hosk, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Dua Lipa have in common? Aside from their super successful careers, of course, they also have the same taste in accessories. Recently, they have all been spotted wearing Déhanche - a brand fashion editors were quietly hoping to keep under wraps for just a little while longer. An alternative to some of the more obvious designer belt styles on the market (like the super-popular logo belts from Gucci and Hermès), Déhanche's success marks a departure from this with a more refined and, well, 2025 take. ©Instagram/@iamjessicafay Hollyhock Embellished Leather Belt Déhanche's best-selling belt, the Hollyhock, is made from smooth leather and has a buckle fastening that is more elevated than your average belt with a row of rings. Available in multiple different colours, as well as metals, the belt is perfect for adding to wide-leg trousers and jeans. I also own the Hollyhock style, and can attest to its excellence - it feels so weighty and is obviously very well-crafted. The only thing I would advise is to size up or use the online size guide - I found the belt comes up a little smaller than usual. Founded in 2022, Déhanche ('hanches' is the French word for hips) has crept into the highest echelon of celebrity wardrobes with the mission to turn belts (an accessory that was once just purely functional) into something far more interesting. Traditionally, belts have always been steeped in drama - whether you think of a grommeted style from the '70s and '80s, or Carrie Bradshaw's studded Streets Ahead belt in Sex And The City . Déhanche taps into the spirit of both, building its brand around conscious consumerism - proving that you don't need to put your entire wardrobe on Vinted when the trends or seasons change - instead, all you need is one well-designed belt. Two of the most popular Déhanche styles are the Hollyhock and the Revenge belt (they also form part of the permanent collection - otherwise the brand only releases four limited-edition drops a year) - the latter of which was seen on Dua Lipa. Meanwhile, the Hollyhock, Déhanche's debut style, is among one of the most popular, not only on the brand's website, but also my Instagram feed too - it popped up so many times that it quickly became not a case of if I'd get the belt, but when . Revenge Embellished Leather Belt Dua Lipa's go-to belt is the Revenge style, which is finished with eyelets that are threaded with rings. The brand says the belt exudes a kind of 'rebellious punk spirit' because of its slightly more avant garde design. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, a long-time lover of refined, tonal dressing, has become especially loyal to Déhanche's Valadon belt - a thin, but contoured leather belt that speaks to her less-is-more philosophy. Valadon Leather Belt One of Déhanche's more subtle styles, the Valadon Leather Belt features a chic sliding buckle and a slim profile that means it can be either worn with trousers or in the middle of a maxi dress. Plus, it's on sale too. We're in the middle of a transition when it comes to the way we dress. Quiet luxury has started to waver, making way for a return to playfulness in the form of gingham, polka dots and plenty of boho ruffles – just three trends that have dominated the beginning of this year. Déhanche's success, however, shows that there's still an appetite for chic well-made pieces that will stand the test of time. Constance Leather Belt If you're on the hunt for a Déhanche belt that's smaller and more subtle, the Constance style is a good option. Ideal for cinching the waist of blazers or making a slip dress look less oversized and more fitted. Orbite Leather Waist Belt The Orbite belt is named after its circular statement-making gold buckle that won't overpower an outfit, but will add to it. Best styled around a neutral blazer or satin midi dress, simply add a pair of kitten heels and gold earrings and you're good to go. Meri Leather Waist Belt For a slightly cooler Déhanche belt, look to the Meri Belt, which has gold hammered hardware detailing in the place of a classic buckle. If you prefer your accessories in a lighter colour for summer, the same style is also available in an ivory shade. Jolinard Leather Belt The Jolinard style is another one that's on sale, currently with 40% off. If you like the chunkiness of the Revenge belt but want a belt that's slightly more pared-back, the Jolinard is somewhere in the middle - with thick gold hardware and '80s and '90s influences. Harry and Meghan's 'drama' with royal staff in lead-up to wedding day
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have seemingly got their Happy Ever After, Meghan as an influencer while she and Harry raise their children in California, but drama that reportedly started just before their wedding will always loom large Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appear to have had their happy ending after some very turbulent years leading up to their decision to step down as senior royals - and then the almighty fallout from Megxit in 2020. They live in a beautiful mansion in Montecito with their children Archie, six and three-year-old Lilibet, who often appear with their faces hidden on their mum's social media as she promotes her Netflix show With Love, Meghan and her lifestyle brand As Ever. However, the couple experienced discord and drama long before they decided to move abroad for a new life. The months leading up to their fairytale wedding back in 2018 were reportedly less than idyllic. Outwardly, their big day on Saturday, May 19, 2018, looked nothing short of perfect family togetherness. Prince Charles walked his future daughter-in-law down the aisle, while Prince William appeared the proud big brother, as Harry's best man. But behind the scenes, royal author Tina Brown said it was a very different story. In her bestselling book 'The Palace Papers', Brown even went so far as to claim that the lead-up to the wedding was a "s*** show" and said sources told her: "Preparation for the Sussex union was all drama, all the time." According to Brown's book, aides said they had become "fed up" with Harry and Meghan's constant demands. Royal writer Tom Bower also claims Meghan was too demanding. This included a "clash" of opinion with Angela Kelly, the late Queen Elizabeth's personal advisor for her wardrobe, over her wedding tiara. Writing in his biography 'Revenge', which was about Harry and Meghan's feud with the Royal Family, Bower said: "Meghan alighted on a tiara sparkling with emeralds. Her choice was approved by Harry. Kelly suggested that its Russian origin made it unsuitable." Harry was reportedly furious, which led the Queen to put her grandson "firmly in his place" and he was warned that "Meghan cannot have whatever she wants. She gets what tiara she's given by me," The Times reported. With the emerald-encrusted headpiece no longer an option, the former Suits star opted for the £2 million Queen Mary's Diamond Bandeau. The small but mighty diamond cluster brooch features ten diamonds and was made for Her Majesty's grandmother, Queen Mary, in 1932. Like many brides-to-be, the duchess was keen to ensure all details were covered and that her hairstyle on the day would work with her headwear. Therefore, she is said to have asked for her tiara to be taken out of storage for her hairdresser from New York to have a look at. The Daily Mail reports that the request was refused as The Queen needed to give her permission. It is not understood whether Meghan was able to go to the Queen to get the permission she needed or not, but it was claimed that Harry's angry response meant that he was brought before his granny for further admonishment, according to Ingrid Seward, author of My Mother. For her book, she spoke to Lady Elizabeth Anson, Queen Elizabeth's cousin and close friend, who said that Her Majesty was not pleased with Harry. However, the biggest and most well-documented drama was that of the flower girl dresses. According to Bower, Kate allegedly believed that the bridesmaids should follow royal tradition and wear tights. However, Meghan reportedly insisted they break with this tradition. Their biggest disagreement was over the length of Charlotte's hem, which Kate believed was too short for the three-year-old princess. Meghan's assistant Melissa Toubati and dress-fitter Clare Waight Keller claimed to have "witnessed Meghan emphatically reject Kate's observation," Bower said. It was widely reported after the wedding that this caused Kate to burst into tears. Meghan was described as a "diva and a bridezilla." The Duchess of Sussex got the chance to put across her side of the story in her 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey - claiming they were her tears, not Kate's. "A few days before the wedding, she was upset about something pertaining - yes, the issue was correct - about flower-girl dresses, and it made me cry, and it really hurt my feelings," Meghan told Oprah. "What was hard to get over was being blamed for something that not only I didn't do but that happened to me. "And the people who were part of our wedding going to our comms team and saying, "I know this didn't happen". I don't have to tell them what actually happened," she added. The interview added fuel to the fire, with Meghan also implying that the royals were racist due to questions from a senior family member on how dark the couple's first son, Archie, would be. Oprah was horrified, and Meghan looked deeply hurt. Following the airing of the interview, the revelation led to reporters asking William if his family was racist while on a school visit. The race row was a shocking attack on the monarchy, and it seems that Harry realised this. Two years on in 2023, he spoke to baffled ITV journalist Tom Bradbury to clarify that Meghan never accused his family of racism in an interview. Instead, Harry called it "unconscious bias", but the clarification came too late. The damage was done, and furthermore, his 2023 memoir 'Spare' and its eye-boggling revelations - including William launching a physical attack on Harry and how Kate took umbrage to Meghan joking she had baby brain due to being pregnant with her youngest Louis - do not suggest a heartwarming reconciliation is on the cards anytime soon.

Humphries makes Littler feelings clear after winning Premier League title
Luke Humphries went one step better than this time a year ago, as the world number one overcame Luke Littler in a tense Premier League Darts final at the O2 Arena Revenge is a dish best served 12 months later, and this time Luke Littler was on the sharp end of the swordsman's epee. In front of a record 14,000 sell-out crowd at London's O2 arena, Luke Humphries - the beaten finalist last year - completed the Triple Crown of darts by winning his first BetMGM Premier League title. The world No.1 takes home the £275,000 winner's loot after prevailing 11-8 against Littler in a patchy final which rarely lived up to the Lukes of Hazard's highest standards. Cool Hand Luke's triumph means he has now won the three biggest prizes in the sport - world title, World Matchplay and Premier League. And his eighth TV major denied Luke the Nuke the chance to crash through the £1 million barrier for prize money in 2025 alone. Humphries said: 'I love Luke to bits, he is one of my best mates on tour and we'll be teaming up at the World Cup of Darts next month. If we produce our best nobody's going to touch us." He added: 'If I don't win another title, I'm happy because I've done the three hardest ones to do. I've joined an exclusive group of me, Gary Anderson, Phil Taylor and Michael van Gerwen. 'To Phil Taylor, thank you so much. He has given me so much support. He has given me a lot of advice and an extra boost tonight. I'm really happy with that win. I can retire now – I'm done! But seriously, I want to search for more. It makes me want to be a better player. 'I've won eight major titles. Now it's important to finish the end of the season well." Littler shrugged: 'Nobody likes losing but I'm glad it's over - it's been a tough 17 weeks and I'll be back next year.' Both players were unhappy about conditions on stage - possibly a draught - and remonstrated with tournament officials backstage during the break. But whatever the issue, 18-year-old Littler's hopes of joining Phil Taylor and Michael van Gerwen as the only players to retain the Premier League crown were gone with the wind. In the Two Lukes' ninth meeting in this year's Premier League, and by far the richest, there were scores to settle. Humphries was in charge of last year's final until Littler unfurled a nine-dart perfect leg and disappeared over the horizon with the swag to win his first TV major as a 17-year-old. And the pair's previous clash, in Aberdeen a fortnight ago, was pandemonium. The treble 20 bed was carried off on a stretcher after Humphries hit nine maximums and averaged 110… but somehow managed to lose. Littler won the one-shot competition at the bull backstage for the right to throw first, a trivial footnote in most rivalries but potentially critical when they are so often separated by fine margins. Since Humphries won a classic World Championship final across town at Alexandra Palace 17 months ago, his meetings with Littler have turned them into the best of enemies. But as Littler's star waned, Humphries nailed double 10 - Littler's favourite - to seal the deal shortly before the first bongs on Nukes at Ten. A trail which began in Belfast early in February ended with Humphries embracing his family in the VIP seats. Littler didn't do too badly - his £125,000 runner-up loot and six £10,000 bonus payments for winning half a dozen nights on the 16-week slog through seven countries is smarter than your average teenager's pocket money. In his semi-final against fish-and-chip takeaway owner Gerwyn Price, it looked as though Littler had had his chips when he trailed 6-4 at the break. Price had kicked away a missile, possibly a bottle, which landed on stage before the start - whoever threw it needs a good slap - but the Nuke seemed to lose his bottle at first. Five of the first seven legs went against the throw and the world champion missed 10 of his first 13 shots at a double. But Littler gave himself a good talking-to at the interval and he went through the gears, taking six of the next seven legs to reach the final with a 104.64 average.

Netflix to axe popular 'saucy' drama with just days left to binge-watch
Billie Piper's drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl is leaving Netflix and fans only have a few days left to watch the sexy drama. Netflix fans only a short time left to enjoy a Billie Piper drama before it's permanently removed from the streaming giant's vast catalogue of shows. Secret Diary of a Call Girl first graced our screens in 2007, airing on Showtime and ITV2, with actress Billie Piper taking the lead role just a year after her departure from Doctor Who as Rose Tyler. Piper portrayed Hannah Baxter, a woman leading a double life as a prostitute named Belle, a secret kept from her family and friends until her personal and professional worlds collide. The drama enjoyed a successful four-season run before being cancelled, and in mid-June 2024, Secret Diary of a Call Girl was added to Netflix in its entirety. Regrettably, its tenure on the streaming platform is coming to an abrupt end, with Piper's risqué drama set to depart next week. Secret Diary of a Call Girl will be removed from Netflix on Thursday, May 29, leaving less than a week for viewers to binge-watch the series before it disappears for good. The series boasts a star-studded cast featuring big names early in their careers, such as Baby Driver and Mamma Mia star Lily James and Crazy Rich Asians' Gemma Chan. Other recognisable faces include Revenge actress Ashley Madekwe, Excalibur star Cherie Lunghi, and Agent Carter actor James D'Arcy. Fortunately, there's an alternative for fans wishing to continue watching the popular series once it leaves Netflix. All four seasons of Secret Diary of a Call Girl can also be streamed for free via ITV's streaming service, ITVX. Reddit users have been expressing their fondness for the series, with one fan posting: "I watched it years ago on TV and loved it. "It was fascinating to see inside the life of a call girl. Billie Piper was great!" Another fan echoed the sentiment, highlighting the star's performance: "It had Billie Piper and was my reason to watch it back in the day." Someone else reminisced: "This was a very educational series when I was a teenager. "The fact we had a character break the fourth wall and talk to us while she performed was very interesting."

Meghan Markle on Why She Got Blamed for Harry Changing Goes Viral
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Meghan Markle said in a viral social media clip that people were "angry with her" because Prince Harry changed after their relationship. The Duchess of Sussex told her December 2022 Netflix show Harry & Meghan "most people need to find someone to blame" but argued the prince was already "on his own path." A clip of the moment has gone viral on TikTok and has been liked 8,600 times and viewed 240,000 times. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle give a joint interview for their original Netflix biopic 'Harry and Meghan,' released in December 2022. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle give a joint interview for their original Netflix biopic 'Harry and Meghan,' released in December 2022. Duke and Duchess of Sussex/Netflix What Meghan Markle Said on Netflix Meghan said: "In any relationship, oftentimes, when a guy falls in love with a girl, his buddies are like 'Oh my God, he changed I don't see him anymore. He's always with her.' And you blame the girl. They're angry with her, because she's the thing that took him away. "And that's whether you're in a small town or a big city or in the royal family. He wouldn't ever have been attracted to or interested in me if he hadn't already been on his own path." Meghan's comments in Episode 5 were positioned as the couple were packing their bags at Frogmore Cottage in preparation for relocating to America in 2020. "Most people need to find someone to blame to try to, like, reconcile how you're feeling because something's changed and it doesn't feel good and you don't like it and what's the thing that's different," Meghan said. "'Well, it all changed when you got here. So it's your fault.'" "But you blame me... because also if you can blame me then you have no fault. So that last week, it was bitter sweet," she said, in reference to their last week in London in March 2020. "I thought, the public, if they've been fed these lies for two years what do they think of me? They must hate us…no, the people were just so embracing. They were sad that we were leaving. We were sad that we were leaving." Wider Context It is not clear if Meghan was talking about Harry's friends or his family. There have been stories in the past suggesting tension between Meghan and Harry's friends over politically incorrect jokes. Biographer Tom Bower wrote in his Meghan and Harry book Revenge about a shooting weekend at Sandringham with 16 friends: "All of them were employed by international banks and auction houses or were estate owners and racehorse trainers. All were bonded by common assumptions, principles and loyalties. "Like other shooting weekends, Harry was looking forward to endless banter, jokes—and a lot of drinking. He had not anticipated Meghan's reaction. "Their jokes involving sexism, feminism and transgender people ricocheted around the living-rooms and dining rooms. Without hesitation, Meghan challenged every guest whose conversation contravened her values. "According to Harry's friends, again and again she reprimanded them about the slightest inappropriate nuance. Nobody was exempt." However, the positioning of the quotes during a chunk of the episode set in March 2020 would suggest a more royal angle. Whatever reservations Harry's friends might have had, by then it was the palace that Harry was crashing out of. That January, Harry at down with Queen Elizabeth II, King Charles III and Prince William at the "Sandringham Summit," a crisis meeting in which they thrashed out the terms of the royal exit.
