Lamborghini Unveils Fenomeno, Its Most Powerful V12 Hybrid Yet
Lamborghini has introduced the Fenomeno, its most powerful V12 hybrid supercar, at Monterey Car Week 2025. Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Centro Stile, Lamborghini's design division, the Fenomeno is a limited-edition model that pushes the boundaries of performance and design. The Fenomeno is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 engine paired with a tri-electric motor hybrid system, delivering a combined output of 1,065 horsepower. This powertrain enables the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds, with a top speed exceeding 350 km/h. The hybrid system includes a 7.0 kWh battery, providing a modest electric-only range, and contributes to a class-leading power-to-weight ratio of 1.64 kg/hp. Design enhancements on the Fenomeno are both functional and aesthetic. The vehicle features redesigned doors for improved cooling, aerodynamic modifications such as a GT3-style S-duct, and a new hood design that increases aerodynamic load by 30 percent. These changes not only enhance performance but also reflect Lamborghini's commitment to innovation in automotive design. ADVERTISEMENT The Fenomeno is part of Lamborghini's exclusive 'Few Off' series, with only 29 units planned for production. This rarity positions the Fenomeno among the most exclusive models in Lamborghini's history, following in the footsteps of previous limited-edition cars like the Reventón and Centenario. The vehicle's pricing is expected to be in the range of €3 million to €3.5 million, reflecting its status as a high-performance, limited-production hypercar.

2026 Lamborghini Fenomeno Is a Track-Inspired Special Edition
Lamborghini's limited-run specials have only become more striking over the years, and the Fenomeno is the latest from Sant'Agata. The Reventón kicked things off in 2007, arriving toward the tail end of the Murciélago's production run. While it relied on the Murciélago as its base, it implemented styling inspired by a jet fighter while previewing cues that would resurface in the Aventador. Just 21 coupes were made, followed by 15 roadsters. Since then, Lamborghini hasn't shied away from building more special editions. Think of a car like 2010's track-only Sesto Elemento, the one-of-four 2013 Veneno, or the reborn 2021 Countach. As it did with the Reventón, the Italian carmaker built these limited-run models upon a standard production model, allowing it to experiment with new technologies and styles. Oh, and it also got to attach a seven-figure price tag to vehicles whose development costs had long been paid for. Now it's the Fenomeno's turn.

Lamborghini wants to vroom ahead in its limited-edition hybrid Fenomeno
Italian luxury marque Automobili Lamborghini has introduced its most powerful V12 yet with the launch of the Fenomeno, a few-off limited edition PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) supercar. The company said the adoption of a hybrid drivetrain was aimed at enhancing driving pleasure rather than following industry trends. 'We didn't do hybrid because everyone else is doing it; we did it when it could offer more driving pleasure,' Matteo Ortenzi, Revuelto Product Line Director told ETAuto during a media interaction. He added that the move coincided with the availability of technology that could deliver performance gains without diluting the brand's core identity. Revealed at the Monterey Car Week 2025, the Fenomeno is a limited edition of 29 units which are already sold out. It is paired with a 6.5-litre V12 engine with three electric motors to produce a combined 1,080 CV — 835 CV from the V12 and 245 CV from the electric units. It can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 2.4 seconds, reach 200 km/h in 6.7 seconds and has a top speed of over 350 km/h. Its dry weight-to-power ratio stands at 1.64 kg/CV. ETAuto earlier reported how Lamborghini is moving ahead with hybrid powertrains as electrification is coming at a slower pace than expected. However, the company plans to launch its upcoming electric vehicle models as per the schedule. Aligning with company's strategy Lamborghini said the new hybrid system, combined with a high-revving combustion engine, is designed to ensure electrification complements rather than compromises its trademark driving experience. The system features two axial-flow electric motors on the front axle for torque vectoring and regenerative braking, and a third integrated into the eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox to deliver rear-axle torque and support all-electric driving. It comes with a 7 kWh lithium-ion battery that is positioned centrally in the chassis. Described as a 'design manifesto', the Fenomeno sports a longtail profile, clean lines and advanced aerodynamics, including an S-Duct system, a mobile rear wing with an 'omega' design and more than 30 per cent more efficient side cooling compared to production V12 models. It also debuts the new Lamborghini logo unveiled in 2024. The model continues the brand's tradition of limited-run cars such as the Reventón, Sesto Elemento, Veneno, Centenario, Sián and Countach, with deliveries restricted to select clients. In 2024, the italian brand sold a record 113 units in India, a 10 per cent growth compared to 2023.

Lamborghini's Wildest Creation Yet Will Be Revealed In California
Last week, a new report claimed that Lamborghini was working on a highly limited special edition that would be revealed at this year's edition of Monterey Car Week. It appears that this report may have been accurate because Sant'Agata has now teased a look at a limited-production supercar, announcing that the covers will come off on the lawns of Pebble Beach. The Supercar Blog claimed that this low-volume vehicle would bear the name Fenomeno and that it would be the most powerful Lambo yet. Those points are yet to be confirmed, but Lamborghini's announcement doesn't suggest otherwise. Lamborghini's release discusses previous special editions like the Reventón, which was the first Lamborghini model launched intentionally as a few-off back in 2007, blazing the trail followed by subsequent limited production series, like the Sesto Elemento, Veneno, Centenario, Sián, and Countach LPI 800-4. Each of these vehicles represented a step forward, whether that was in carbon composite manufacturing and application, aerodynamics, interior technology, handling innovations, electrification, or 3D printing. The Italian automaker says that the next entrant to the series "will map out the future of Lamborghini super sports cars, celebrating the identity and vision of the company." This implies that the Monterey car's styling will be unique in the Lamborghini range, but only for now. Whatever new design elements or technological innovations are showcased by the low-volume model will surely influence future series production vehicles. The report referenced at the outset claimed that this new special edition would be limited to just 29 units, which all but confirms a seven-figure starting price and unique bodywork. The report also claimed that this would be the most powerful Lambo to date, which means an increase on the 1,001 horsepower offered by the Revuelto. The teaser does not appear to be hiding much in the way of overt aero appendages, but the front end seems to feature a vented hood somewhat reminiscent of the one on the Veneno, while the roof and the area behind each door appear to be very similar to those on the Revuelto. We'll have to wait until the middle of August to see what's hiding under the sheets, but given the exclusive nature of this car, if you haven't seen it already at some private preview event, there's no chance of securing an allocation now.
