Molly-Mae reveals her skincare secret that's currently slashed to half price

The former Love Island star swore off filler months ago and now she's revealed the secret to her plump skin - and it's currently on offer for half price and calls it a 'game changer' Molly-Mae champions this 'revolutionary' serum following her filler removal - and it's her key to supple skin. The influencer has consistently highlighted her go-to skincare essentials, with the L'Oreal Revitalift serum being her constant favourite, now available at half price. Following her villa departure, the former Love Islander openly discussed her decision to abandon fillers for a more authentic appearance - a choice she described as the "best decision of her life" and has remained virtually filler-free for almost five years. To maintain her skin's plumpness, the mum-of-one has praised the Revitalift serum, presently priced at £16, reduced from £31.99. The 26 year old became devoted to the Revitalift collection, with the serum containing 1.5% hyaluronic acid to moisturise the skin and restore luminosity and fullness. It features L'Oreal's most concentrated dose of the beauty world's most coveted component, designed to thoroughly nourish and hydrate your complexion. Hyaluronic Acid occurs naturally within our bodies; nevertheless, environmental factors degrade it continuously. When Hyaluronic Acid deteriorates in our complexion, which may occur through contact with pollutants and UV radiation, skin can become parched and exposed, potentially leading to fine lines and wrinkles developing. This potent ingredient holds the key to achieving smooth, flawless-looking skin. Molly-Mae showed how she uses the products whilst discussing their transformative impact on her complexion and revealed in a YouTube vlog: "Discovering this Hyaluronic Acid Serum has been absolutely game changing for me. "This serum replumps my skin in one hour and just gives me the most rejuvenated, refreshed look to my skin. It's completely safe to use it, suitable for all skin types, and it just gives my face that perfectly replumped, fresh face look." And it's not only Molly who's impressed, with one LookFantastic customer gushing: "Smells really nice and fresh, love the dropper and a little goes a long way! As an ex beauty therapist I'd deffo recommend this, leaves your skin feeling bright and smooth!" Whilst another added: "I do like this product, it definitely does improve my skin after a couple of weeks of use, but I feels plasticky when I put it on. Like kind of slimy and leaves a shiny residue on my face." Another similar alternative is the Garnier Vitamin C Brightening Serum, currently priced at £9.33, down from its usual price of £13.99. This potent formula aims to diminish the appearance of dark spots and uneven skin tone, whilst bestowing a luminous glow on the skin. Niacinamide hydrates and enhances skin elasticity, while salicylic acid gently exfoliates dead skin cells. The formula also contains lemon extract, renowned for its brightening properties, leaving skin visibly smooth and radiant. A pricier but comparable option is the La Roche-Posay Hyalu Serum, currently discounted to £36 from its original price of £45. This powerful anti-wrinkle concentrate serum is enriched with Hyaluronic Acid and works to hydrate the complexion and give skin a bouncy texture. The ingredients work to minimise and soften the appearance of fine lines, plumping the skin with moisture to promote suppleness, while encouraging an even-looking texture. Two different sizes of hyaluronic acid provide immediate and long-lasting hydration.

I'm a beauty editor – these are the products I'm swearing by this summer, including a 15-min fix for tired eyes…

ANYTHING that promises instant results when it comes to skincare is an immediate red flag for me. Every dermatologist I've ever spoken to has told me you have to use products consistently for at least three weeks, and up to six, before you will start to see results with the naked eye. 7 So, when L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Laser Eye Bag Instant Eraser, £29.99, landed on my desk this month promising results in 15 minutes, I was dubious. L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Laser Eye Bag Instant Eraser, £29.99 BUY HERE With a name like that, you're setting yourself up for failure, I thought, but I took it home to try. I put it on that night, expecting to roll my eyes when it inevitably didn't live up to the claims, but within minutes my under-eyes were smoother and less puffy. I put it down to the fact my bags aren't that bad – I'm 29, and I only have a couple of fine lines in the area, so I'm definitely not the target market. Determined to put it through its paces, I asked my mum to give it a go. I didn't expect her results to be even better than mine, easily knocking a decade off her appearance. I can't imagine she'll use it every day – it comes with strict instructions not to make facial movements for the 15 minutes it takes to dry, and you have to apply the pea-sized amount with tapping motions rather than rubbing it in – but I'm sure it'll be her special-occasion secret weapon. Speaking of secret weapons, I've found a warm-weather essential where I least expected it in Dcypher Blur Balance Primer, £25. Dcypher Blur Balance Primer, £25 BUY HERE I haven't used a mattifying primer for maybe 10 years, but the recent high temps had me searching for a solution to my near-constant sweaty upper lip. The silicone-based formula feels like velvet, but isn't heavy or mask-like, and creates a barrier that absorbs moisture and stops sweat breaking through and ruining my make-up all day long. Champo Flyaway Fix, £16 Champo Flyaway Fix, £16, has become similarly key for my hair this month. I've been wearing it up a lot, as I have baby hairs around my face that frizz and look messy in the humidity. The serum-like formula slicks them down without making them dry or crispy, and it doesn't make my hair flake off leaving white specs. The fine-tooth, curved brush doesn't tug or create bumps in my hair either, making it perfect for slicked-back styles. Weightless hydration has been a saviour for my skin, keeping my face soft and smooth without blocking my pores. Elemis Pro-Collagen Toning Mist, £45 I've been layering Elemis Pro-Collagen Toning Mist, £45 – a super-fine mist that I use on freshly cleansed skin – and Bubble Cosmic Silk Hydrating Milky Toner, £16, which has a slightly thicker formula that creates the perfect base for make-up – and it's working wonders. Bubble Cosmic Silk Hydrating Milky Toner, £16 BUY HERE The mist contains padina pavonica, a type of algae that moisturises skin and is the hero ingredient in the entire Elemis Pro-Collagen range. It also has soothing rose and gluconolactone, a PHA that gently exfoliates dead skin cells and acts as an antioxidant to brighten the complexion. The list of skin-loving ingredients in the serum is even longer – with ceramides, vitamin E, hyaluronic acid and allantoin to name just a few. It absorbs quickly and gives a lit-from-within radiance that lasts hours. Megababe Après Shave Ingrown & Razor Bump Roll-on Solution, £12 I'm extremely low-maintenance (read: lazy) when it comes to bodycare, so when I tell you Megababe Après Shave Ingrown & Razor Bump Roll-on Solution, £12, is a non-negotiable if you shave or are prone to ingrown hairs, please believe me. The rollerball format means you don't have to get your hands sticky, and it has a cooling effect on contact with the skin. There's no stinging or tingling, even on my arm pits, which is often the case with other ingrown-hair solutions I've tried. If you find you get red dots on your legs after shaving, it gets rid of those virtually overnight, too. From now until tights season comes back around, this will be my beauty best friend. How To Save Money On Beauty Buys IF your purse is feeling tighter than ever before and you're looking to save cash on your make-up routine, have you ever thought of trying out beauty dupes? Here are five of the best recommended beauty buys that are almost identical to the posh versions, but at a fraction of the price. FACE BASE If you can't afford Charlotte Tilbury 's £52 Magic Cream, why not try a dupe that costs just £5.49 from Superdrug? TONE IT UP If Drunk Elephant's £62 Protini Cream is out of your price range, you'll need to check out the new dupe in Home Bargains. TINTING IT With Fenty's game-changer skin tint costing £29, a popular supermarket's affordable alternative might just be the thing for you. GET COVERED At £29 for a Tarte concealer, the new Primark dupe is much more affordable at just £3.50. SPRAY YAY For those wanting to smell fresh without the price tag, Aldi's new Prada and Chloe perfume dupes cost a fraction of the price.

Hyaluronic acid is a 'game-changer for aging skin' — I put 5 under $50 to the test: Review of The Ordinary, L'Oréal, Neutrogena & more

Beauty writer Sarah DiMuro put five affordable hyaluronic acid formulas to the test. Click here to jump right to her ranking. When I hit 45, keeping my skin hydrated became a real challenge. As a breast cancer survivor who was put into early menopause as part of my treatment, I started to notice lotions that once kept my skin looking fresh and dewy were falling short. Around that time, I discovered hyaluronic acid, which has been an absolute skincare game-changer. The potent product is so effective at keeping moisture in that one dermatologist calls it a "moisture magnet." I've always been a big fan of The Ordinary's affordable hyaluronic acid formula, but recently, I've been wondering about some of the other brands getting rave reviews. In particular, I was eager to give the Eva Longoria-approved favourite from L'Oréal a try, as I was already a fan of the brand's Revitalift moisturizer. In total, I spent the past four months using five different hyaluronic acids — and I was a bit surprised by which one really stood out from the pack. I also reached out to a few experts to get their thoughts on these products. Did they agree with my assessments? Read my full reviews below for all the details. Dr. Asmi Berry, a board-certified dermatologist, says that hyaluronic acid is a naturally-occurring sugar molecule found in our skin and connective tissues. Berry calls it a "moisture magnet" with the power to pull hydration into skin. Berry also says it holds "up to 1,000 times its weight in water, which helps keep skin plump, dewy and hydrated." She also explains that the lightweight and non-comedogenic qualities of the acid make it a great option for all skin types, including oily or acne-prone skin. Dermatologist Dr. Anna Chacon calls the acid a "game-changer for aging skin," because it improves the look of fine lines by trapping moisture in the skin's cells for a plumped, youthful look. While anyone can use hyaluronic acid, it can be especially beneficial for those going through menopause, where a depletion in estrogen can lead to drier, thinner skin. Berry says that's when hyaluronic acid can really help to "replenish lost moisture and maintain elasticity." Berry recommends applying the product on damp skin and "sealing it in with a moisturizer to prevent it from pulling moisture out of your skin." She also says if you are a regular user of products that contain retinoids, hyaluronic acid is a "great buffer to help maintain the hydration" these ingredients can often deplete. As someone nearing 50, I put 5 affordable hyaluronic acid products to the test. Check out my honest review — and scroll down to see what the experts think. There's nothing ordinary about The Ordinary. This was the first hyaluronic acid I ever tried — and I've been obsessed with this ultra-affordable serum for years. A little bit of this lightweight formula goes a long way, and the moment it touches my face after cleansing, my skin gets an immediate moisture boost. In addition to five types of hyaluronic acid, it also contains pro-vitamin B5 and ceramides that help keep that much-needed moisture locked in. For regular daily use, this product is the way to go. The only downside? I wish it was offered with a pump dispenser. My under-eyes have been rejuvenated thanks to Grace and Stella's Energizing Eye Masks, so I couldn't wait to give the brand's award-winning hyaluronic acid a try. This vegan serum is packed with hydrating ingredients such as glycerin, citric acid and panthenol to help maintain active hydration all day long. Also, it comes in a pump dispenser that makes application neater and more controlled. While I love my go-to from The Ordinary, I think the pump dispenser might actually give this one a bit of an edge. What can I say, convenience is key! L'Oréal Revitalift is a line of products that have worked wonders on my middle-aged skin, and their hyaluronic acid is no exception. With 1.5% pure hyaluronic, this serum is hands down the best of the best. I now understand why it's the first product Eva Longoria puts on her face each morning, calling it the "basis of [her] skin." Longoria says, "You can't lay good makeup on bad skin," and credits the Revitalift series of skincare products as skincare products she "can't live without." And honestly, I couldn't agree more. It feels a little thicker than the other products, which is exactly what my super dry face needs. It has micro-epidermic hyaluronic acid, which can penetrate deeper into the skin to improve the look of wrinkles. Sometimes, this was the only product I used at bedtime, and I would wake up to plumper skin. You also don't need to use a lot of it to see a difference. Count this as one celebrity-loved product that actually lives up to its claims! This fragrance-free serum is great for those with sensitive or acne-prone skin. While I don't mind the formula it wasn't my favourite. I needed to use it more liberally on my more mature, dry cheeks. While it contains both macro and micro hyaluronic acids to help lock moisture in all day long, but by midday, I felt like my face was less hydrated than with the other formulas. That said, I brought it with me on a recent trip to Florida, where it provided just the right amount of hydration amidst the humid weather — so it's a good option for summer. There is no skincare brand I use more than CeraVe. The dermatologist-tested and developed brand always delivers. A few pumps of this gel-cream moisturizing serum are all you need to lock in hours of hydration. With three essential ceramides, highly concentrated hyaluronic acid as well as B5, this formula kept my skin from drying out on one of the coldest days of the winter. That being said, I don't like the texture of it as much as the others, which are more gel-like. Don't get me wrong, it's an awesome product and works incredibly well on my over-40 face, but I ran out of it before the others, and for me, that's a bit of a turn-off. Berry told Yahoo Canada that if you have normal to oily skin, she recommends the Neutrogena Hydro Boost serum. She likes that it's "lightweight, layers well under makeup and gives a nice hydration boost without feeling sticky." However, for dry or sensitive skin types, she would recommend CeraVe's hyaluronic acid as the ceramides "support the skin barrier." She's also a fan of L'Oréal's Revitalift hyaluronic acid, which she says is "great for aging skin since it uses different molecular weights of hyaluronic acid for deeper hydration." Chacon told me that The Ordinary is a "great brand" — calling out their "transparency in ingredients" and "high-quality formulations" — and she praised their hyaluronic acid for "keeping skin hydrated and plump." She also praised CeraVe's serum for its ceramides which "help support the skin's barrier and overall skin health." While each one of the five brands tested added much-needed moisture to my tired skin, there was a clear favourite me as a 48-year-old mom of two. 1. Without a doubt, L'Oréal Paris 1.5% Pure Hyaluronic Acid was the runaway winner. It felt great on, noticeably boosted my weary skin, and kept my complexion fresh into the wee hours of the night. Do I wish the thick glass bottle were a little lighter? Sure. But regardless, it's coming with me on all my upcoming trips. 2. Coming in at a solid second is Grace & Stella Hyaluronic Acid. The lightweight formula feels refreshing on my clean skin, and the pump dispenser prevents me from using too much. As a breast cancer survivor, I also appreciate the product's clean ingredients. 3. A super close third is the first hyaluronic acid I ever used: The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% and B5. I love all of the brand's high-quality, affordable products, and for everyday use all year long, this hyaluronic acid is an absolute must. 4. Of course, one of my favourite skincare brands has created a solid product with their CeraVe Hydrating Serum with Hyaluronic Acid. Its convenient plastic packaging means no worrying about a fragile glass container that could break. That said, I didn't love the texture of this one — which is why it lands in fourth place. 5. Rounding out the list is Neutrogena's Hydro Boost Hyaluronic Acid Serum. When I travel to Florida this summer, this super light formula will work well in the hot and humid weather — but I prefer a thicker formula for day-to-day in Canada. The experts: Dr. Asmi Berry, board-certified dermatologist, DO, FAAD Dr. Anna Chacon, board-certified dermatologist, MD, FAAD

Eva Longoria just turned 50 — 5 anti-aging beauty products she swears by, all under $75

Eva Longoria looked stunning at her 50th birthday celebration — yes, you read that right. The "Desperate Housewives" alum turned 50 on March 15 and looks better than ever. If you're wondering how she does it, Longoria has been open about how she maintains her youthful appearance. "I'm cold-plunging; I've got red lights on; I strength train with weights; I meditate; I'm journaling," she told Marie Claire back in November. "I wake up with the sun; I'm doing the grounding; I have an Oura ring to track deep sleep; I'm taking magnesium and other supplements; I'm doing everything. Not because I don't want to age but because I do want to age," she continued. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Eva Longoria Baston (@evalongoria) "I'm cold-plunging; I've got red lights on; I strength train with weights; I meditate; I'm journaling," she told Marie Claire back in November. "I wake up with the sun; I'm doing the grounding; I have an Oura ring to track deep sleep; I'm taking magnesium and other supplements; I'm doing everything. Not because I don't want to age but because I do want to age," she continued. As for skincare, it's been known that Longoria loves L'Oréal Paris' Revitalift Derm Intensives 1.5% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum and Revitalift Derm Intensives 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid + 1% Caffeine Eye Serum, which she uses to achieve her glowy skin. The two products have been longtime favourites in her beauty bag. This hyaluronic acid serum from L'Oréal Paris visibly reduces the look of wrinkles and plumps skin. Longoria has been famously candid about her L'Oréal-heavy beauty routine in the past. In a Vogue Beauty Secrets video, she credits the brand's 1.5% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum as her anti-aging skincare secret. "I am going to start with my hyaluronic acid. I taught the world how to say hyaluronic acid," she told the camera. "This hyaluronic acid is for plumping, refreshing, filling in those fine lines." View this post on Instagram A post shared by Eva Longoria Baston (@evalongoria) "I love taking care of my skin. I like the way it feels. I feel like I'm pampering myself every day in my bathroom." L'Oréal's super serum contains 1.5 per cent pure hyaluronic acid, a sugar molecule which naturally occurs in our skin and helps retain moisture, delivering a firm, full and youthful glow. Since hyaluronic acid levels deplete as we age, products like L'Oréal's award-winning serum can help restore our skin's youthful appearance and reduce visible signs of aging like fine lines and wrinkles. According to L'Oréal, integrating the Revitalift serum into your daily routine can improve the appearance of wrinkles by 47 per cent in just six weeks. The lightweight, fast-absorbing serum is suitable for all skin tones and includes vitamin C to add an extra boost of radiance to the skin. Alongside L'Oréal's Revitalift serum, the actress uses the line's Revitalift Triple Power LZR with 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid + 1% Caffeine Eye Serum. This eye serum is formulated with 1.5 per cent hyaluronic acid and one per cent caffeine. "I love this applicator because it has these little balls, and they feel so good," the actress and director told Vogue Beauty Secrets. "As you get older, ladies, you have to prep your skin, specifically your under eyes." "I'm kind of generous with [it]," she added. ⭐ 44,000+ ratings ⭐ 4.4/5 stars ⭐ "It really works!" With nearly 45,000 reviews on Amazon, it seems Eva Longoria is not the only fan of the L'Oréal serum (the brand's eye serum has equally impressive reviews). One shopper said they saw a "noticeable difference" in their skin in just two weeks and called the serum a "great" addition to their beauty cabinet. "I have tried other hyaluronic acid serums," and this is "the best one by far," wrote another user. There's "no sticky residue," and it "makes my skin feel smooth." L'Oréal's Revitalift serum "really works," promised a third reviewer. "I noticed a difference in my laugh lines," they wrote. It's "diminished" some of them — "I'm going to buy it again!" Despite more than 32,000 five-star reviews, some shoppers noted it can "take a while to see any difference." "Only time will tell," wrote one reviewer. Whether it's Eva Longoria's ageless glow or the praise of 32,000 five-star reviews, if you're looking to round out your red carpet beauty cabinet, the L'Oréal Paris 1.5% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum is not a bad place to start. Amazon shoppers promise the plumping serum "really works," and Eva Longoria herself calls it an excellent product for "filling in those fine lines." However, some reviewers say to temper your expectations on how soon to expect results, something to keep in mind when heading to checkout. Want to achieve her glow? Here are five mature skin essentials Longoria swears by. "I love this Laneige lip mask," shares Longoria — and she's not the only one. More than 39,000 Amazon shoppers gave it a five-star review. One of the most important skincare steps is sunscreen, and Longoria says, "I never do less than 50" SPF. This L'Oréal one has earned a spot in her beauty bag. For an instant tinted glow, Longoria reaches for the iconic Lumi Glotion. It's a multi-purpose product that can be used on its own, as a primer or under foundation. Longoria says she's "obsessed" with this IT Cosmetics brush, stating it's "the perfect firmness." Looking to achieve her bronzed goddess glow? She uses the Makeup by Mario SoftSculpt Transforming Skin Enhancer on the outside of her face (cheekbones and forehead).
