An open call has been announced for 'The City on Screen: Untold Frames', a photography exhibition set to take place at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
Organised by Revive for Heritage and Arts in collaboration with a network of cultural partners including Documentaries, Adasa Photography Club, and Ala Fein, the exhibition invites both professional and amateur photographers to explore Egypt's cities through a cinematic and memory-driven lens.
Participants are encouraged to submit images that echo the atmosphere of a classic film, reinterpret familiar sites, or tell untold stories of everyday urban life. The aim is to capture the layered visual memory of Egypt's cities, whether through revived film scenes, shifting archaeological landscapes, or overlooked daily details.
Submissions are open until August 15th, 2025. Selected works will be part of an exhibition that blends photography, cinema, and urban storytelling. More details, as well as the registration link, can be found via the official event channels.
