Jack Reynor to star opposite Rachel Brosnahan in season 2 of Apple TV+'s 'Presumed Innocent'
Actor Jack Reynor will feature alongside Hollywood star Rachel Brosnahan in the second season of Apple TV+'s legal thriller series "Presumed Innocent". The second season will draw from author Jo Murray's upcoming book "Dissection of a Murder", slated for publication in 2026, reported entertainment news outlet Variety. The details of Reynor's character have been kept under wraps. He is best known for featuring in "Transformers: Age of Extinction" and "The Perfect Couple". Apple has yet to release an official logline but the synopsis from publisher Pan Macmillan offers a glimpse into the story. "When Leila Reynolds is handed her first murder case, she's shocked at how high-profile it is: the murder of a well-respected, well-known judge. This shouldn't be the kind of case she's leading; it's way beyond her expertise. But the defendant, Jack Millman, is clear. He wants her, and only her," the logline read. The first season of the series, created by David E Kelley, starred Jake Gyllenhaal and Ruth Nega in lead roles. It was based on the 1987 novel of the same name by Scott Turow. Brosnahan earlier starred in the hit Amazon series "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel", which concluded in 2023. She was most recently seen in filmmaker James Gunn's highly-anticipated film "Superman" co-starring David Corenswet. Reynor will next appear in season two of Amazon Prime Video's "Citadel".

Jack Reynor to Face Off Against ‘The Mummy' for New Line Cinema
Jacy Reynor is set to go toe-to-toe with the walking undead, as he has landed the lead in New Line Cinema's 'The Mummy,' from 'Evil Dead Rise' director Lee Cronin and Atomic Monster and Blumhouse. Production begins next week in Ireland, ahead of its April 17, 2026 release date. Plot details are being kept secret, although Reynor is reportedly a husband and father who goes up against the titular creep. This will be the third modernized monster movie that producer Jason Blum and Blumhouse has tackled, after making 'The Invisible Man' and 'Wolf Man,' both directed by Leigh Whannell, for Universal Pictures, the studio most closely associated with the classic monsters. The last time Universal unwrapped 'The Mummy' it was for a big-screen action blockbuster in 2017 starring Tom Cruise. Before that there were a trilogy of films starring Brendan Fraser, which concluded in 2008. Atomic Monster and Blumhouse are co-financing 'The Mummy,' with James Wan, Blum and John Keville producing. Michael Clear, Judson Scott and Macdara Kelleher are executive producing. Alayna Glasthal is the executive overseeing the project for Atomic Monster. Reynor has previously appeared in everything from Hollywood blockbuster 'Transformers: Age of Extinction,' to smaller gems like 'Sing Street,' 'Detroit' and 'Midsommar.' On the small screen he has appeared in the Paramount+ series 'Strange Angel,' along with Prime Video's 'The Peripheral' and more recently Netflix's 'The Perfect Couple.'
