Boden's 'very classy' £125 dress reduced to £37 is 'perfect' for summer

And with the hot weather comes the itch to rehash the ol' summer wardrobe. Luckily, Boden shoppers think they've found the perfect dress for this year- and what's more, it's currently on offer. The Kate Midi Shirt Dress normally costs £125, but for a limited time, Boden shoppers can snap it up for far less. As part of Boden's huge online summer clearance sale, the Kate Midi Shirt Dress has been reduced to £50, if shoppers opt for the Rich Emerald, Decorative Flora print. It's even cheaper in alternative patters, priced at £37.50 in the French Navy, London Town and Red, Polka Wave prints. However, sizes are selling out at a rapid pace in these particular designs, so it may be best to check out what's still available. The Kate Midi Shirt Dress comes in seven intricate designs and prints in total, all of which have been reduced from the original £125 price point, reported Manchester Evening News. The dress also comes in Petite, Regular and Long lengths, with a size range of 4 to 22. With a pointed collar and midi length, the Kate shirt dress is an easy summer staple for throwing on with a pair of sandals and trainers, and will flatter the wearer's shape without clinging for a lightweight and breezy look. It's currently 25 per cent off, and is available in eight different prints. Another stylish option is Next's Cream Palm Print Short Sleeve Tie Waist Midi Dress with Linen. At £48, it's in a similar price range, but comes in a more muted palette than the Boden and White Stuff options. The Kate Midi Shirt Dress has been flooded with glowing five-star ratings, although one thing to note is that many have commented on the dress's short length. One impressed five-star shopper said: "Beautiful dress, very classy and a great fit. Love the colours too!" A second penned: "Stunning! Really beautiful dress for work." A third agreed: "I love this dress. Comfy, excellent quality and fit. Good for work or going out for lunch." Somebody else added: "Lovely crepe material. Classic style. Very Boden." Less impressed, another said: "Although the Kate is a lovely dress, and the fabric was absolutely gorgeous, the shape didn't flatter me, so sadly I sent her back." But another wrote: "Fun design, perfect fit . Lovely material that hangs well." While another five-star reviewer raved: "Showstopper dress, gorgeous print and so comfortable." Shoppers could style this light top under a knitted tank or wear it on its own tucked into high-rise jeans. The top has received around 4.5 out of five stars on Boden's website, based on 104 reviews. "Gorgeous many compliments," one customer reviewed. Love how it fits not tight but not baggy. I bought a 10 which is my usual size". However, not everyone was happy with their purchase. One customer claimed that the top's fit wasn't right for them. They said: "This a nice design and material. But the sizing is way off. I am either a roomy 14 or a 16. "I bought a 16 but it was far far too small. It could have been a size 12". If you want a light jumper that can be worn during the summer months, Next has plenty of options, such as the Orange Neutral Square Crochet Long Sleeve Open Neck Jumper with Cotton, which is sold for £39.
