THIS is the moment rain came pouring through the roof of a busy Tesco store in Dublin as heavy rain battered down yesterday.

Rain could be seen falling freely inside the store

In a video shared to a local community page by Richard Seager, a steady stream of water can be seen flowing from the ceiling of the supermarket.
Water can be seen accumulating on the floor around the freezer aisle of the shop, with wet floor signs in place.
It is understood the store closed for some time yesterday as a result of the severe leaks.
Commenting on the video, one person said: "No wonder this store was closed for several hours today!

Locals have revealed the flooding is a common occurrence when heavy rain hits the area.
One person commented: "That's nothing that hasn't happened before it's going on years buckets everywhere."
Another said: "Constantly happens when there's heavy rain!"

One person added: "Always happen in heavy rain…hope everyone's ok."
And another said: "Always the same place main pipe there get blocked."
The Irish Sun reached out to Tesco Ireland for a comment but did not receive an immediate reply.
