Heather Locklear Believes Former Pal Denise Richards' Messy Split From Aaron Phypers Is ‘Karma'

Denise Richards has reportedly been trying to make amends to former friend Heather Locklear as her divorce war with Aaron Phypers gets nastier. But the Melrose Place alum is still upset that Denise hooked up with her ex Richie Sambora years ago, sources tell the National Enquirer. 'Denise has been trying to get in touch but she's not getting anywhere, because Heather has a long memory,' says an insider. (Denise's rep denies she has reached out.) Long before the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 54, ever got involved with Aaron, 52, and after her split from Charlie Sheen, she had a hot-and-heavy romance with Heather's estranged husband, Bon Jovi guitarist Richie, that began shortly after her onetime pal filed for divorce in 2006. 'Heather had separated from Richie and she and Denise were hanging out and hitting up nightclubs to let off some steam, but then Denise backstabbed her by taking up with Richie. Heather felt betrayed,' says the insider. Now Denise is caught up in an acrimonious divorce from Aaron, who's unemployed and seeking spousal support. She's accused him in court docs of years of abuse and stealing her laptop and leaking nude photos. As far as Heather, 63, is concerned, it serves Denise right. 'She's not trying to get pleasure from Denise's misery right now, but there is a part of her that says this is a classic case of karma biting Denise in the butt,' says the source. 'In Heather's view, Denise is reaping what she sows in terms of how she's treated people. Heather won't be holding any pity parties for Denise anytime soon.' Meanwhile, the Wild Things star insists she didn't steal Richie from Heather, reportedly explaining to Us Weekly that she and the rocker 'were friends, and we were both going through divorces, and that's what drew us to each other … I did not steal someone's husband. Did I date a former friend's ex-husband? Yes. Did I break up a marriage? No.' The Dynasty star believes Denise didn't just break the girl code, she took a wrecking ball to her relationship with Richie, says the source, adding that while Heather isn't looking to start a fight, she will never forgive Denise. Heather Locklear ‘Has a Long Memory' and Isn't Interested In Making Amends With Denise Richards

Back in 2007, Heather Locklear was shocked when Denise, newly split from Charlie Sheen, began dating her estranged husband, rocker Richie Sambora. (Denise denied breaking up their marriage). Now, an insider tells Star, Heather, 63, is spurning her old pal's attempts to make amends. 'Denise has been trying to get in touch, but she's not getting anywhere,' says the insider. (Denise's rep denies she has reached out.) 'Heather has a long memory. Music Legend, 63, Once Said Reunion Could Happen After Bandmate's Sudden Exit

Music Legend, 63, Once Said Reunion Could Happen After Bandmate's Sudden Exit originally appeared on Parade. Fans have long speculated whether the legendary band Bon Jovi would ever reunite — and with past interviews suggesting the frontman is open to it, now might be the time. Last year, the 63-year-old rocker revealed he's only spoken to guitarist Richie Sambora twice since his unexpected departure from the group in 2013. 'It was a shock,' Jon Bon Jovi said of Sambora's sudden exit mid-tour. 'Nobody anticipated it, no one saw it coming.' He recalled one of their last conversations on Easter Sunday, when they discussed their album What About Now. Sambora asked to stay home one more day — Bon Jovi agreed, expecting him back for their next show in Calgary. However, Sambora called and said he wouldn't be returning. The guitarist later claimed he left partly because he felt the band had grown 'stale' — a claim Bon Jovi strongly disagrees with. 'I didn't think so, and the collective, we didn't think so,' he once told Classic Rock. 'I personally thought that everything was going incredibly f--king well. And it was never brought up—in the room, in the writing, in the recording, or during the first 20 shows of that tour.' In that 2024 interview, Bon Jovi admitted the split still hurts and that they've barely kept in touch over the past 11 years. 'I've talked to him twice,' he said. 'He. Quit. The. Band. I swear to Christ there was never a fight, nothing… He wasn't kicked out, he quit. And he hasn't made any great overtures about coming back.' After Sambora's exit, the band tapped guitarist Phil X to fill in. By 2014, Bon Jovi officially confirmed Sambora would not return. Still, the door hasn't fully closed. In 2023, Sambora told PEOPLE a reunion 'could definitely happen.' 'It's just a question of when everybody's ready to go do it. It will be a big, massive kind of undertaking,' he said. The following year, while promoting his album Forever, Bon Jovi echoed that sentiment. 'If he wanted to show up and play sometime, he knows the songs. Absolutely no animosity, I can promise you that,' he told Audacy Check In. So with both sides seemingly open — what's the hold up? With bands like Oasis reuniting after 15 years and Black Sabbath returning for one final farewell, a Bon Jovi and Sambora reunion would be a perfect addition to the comeback trend. Bon Jovi star Richie Sambora's devastating injury is revealed as guitarist says he has 'new lease of life'

Bon Jovi star Richie Sambora has a new lease of life after secretly undergoing surgery after breaking his hand in two places, has exclusively learned. Photos exclusively obtained by show Sambora, celebrating his 66th birthday with a lavish trip to Hawaii, where he was seen golfing with his hand in a medical glove. The surgery took place a week after the Kentucky Derby where he was photographed with a noticeably swollen hand during his set at the Unbridled Derby Eve Gala in Louisville, Kentucky. Now sources have revealed that the swelling was caused by a double fracture but said the rocker put off the surgery in order to meet his obligations to sing at the show. 'He was in immense pain,' the insider told 'But he'd made a commitment to be there and play four songs. 'The fractures were diagnosed before the gala and the doctor thought he was crazy to go ahead but he insisted.' The insider added: 'He took the surgery really seriously and has followed doctors' orders throughout the whole thing. Now he's feeling better than ever. The event, which traditionally takes place the night before the Kentucky Derby, is a charity fundraiser that racing fan Sambora has made a habit of performing at. Along with singing at the gala – where he played a medley of Bon Jovi tunes including mega-hit Dead or Alive - the 65-year-old also donated a guitar to be auctioned off on behalf of Blessings in a Backpack – an organization that provides meals to children in need. Sambora's guitar – which is seen in exclusive photos – was personally designed by the 66-year-old rocker in collaboration with Kantor Guitars. Along with showing up for the gala, the rocker also put in an appearance at the race itself and had a runner named Hope Road running in the Derby City Distaff Stakes where the four-year-old filly placed second. According to a source close to the veteran rockstar, Sambora's decision to delay surgery meant doctors were forced to re-break his hand and re-set it – a process the insider described as 'gnarly'. Making it more challenging was Sambora's studio commitments which meant having to record new single Born To Rock while in a lot of pain. But, the source said, Sambora has been utterly focused on getting back to full fitness and is now on the mend. 'He's been so driven about it and totally on the straight and narrow. He's responded so well and he's been so motivated – it really sparked a new lease of life.' Sambora shot to fame in 1983 as the lead guitarist in mega-band Bon Jovi and co-wrote monster hits Livin on a Prayer and You Give Love A Bad Name with singer Jon Bon Jovi. He later became part of a Hollywood power couple when he married Melrose Place star Heather Locklear, 63, in 1994 – a year after her divorce from Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee. Although the couple divorced in 2007, the pair had one daughter Ava, now 27, together and remain close friends. Ava later played a part in Sambora's decision to quit Bon Jovi in 2013 with sources telling he made the decision because 'his daughter needed him'. That, however, hasn't prevented Sambora from continuing to perform solo – most recently when he made a surprise appearance at the Rock the Responders concert in Los Angeles in February. The gig, which took place in front of the USS Iowa battleship in Long Beach, was staged by the Kings of Chaos – an international super-group with an evolving line-up that previously included Aerosmith's Steve Tyler and ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons. Performers on the night included Sambora's Bon Jovi replacement Phil X – real name Theofilos Xenidis – and Deep Purple's Glen Hughes, as well as Sambora who played mega-hit Livin on a Prayer. The event was designed to raise funds for the LA Disaster Recovery and Resilience Collective – a non-profit that supports disaster recovery efforts in wildfire-ravaged LA. Although a New Jersey native, Sambora has lived in or around LA for nearly 40 years and currently resides in a lavish $32m mansion in upscale Laguna Beach in neighboring Orange County.

Bon Jovi's Career-Defining Hit Reaches An Incredible Chart Milestone

Bon Jovi's 'Livin' on a Prayer' celebrates 260 weeks on Billboard's Hard Rock Streaming Songs chart, ... More becoming the band's first half-decade-charter. (Photo by) Throughout the decades, Bon Jovi has transitioned from pioneers in the hard rock genre to a group whose music frequently lands on adult contemporary pop rankings in the United States. Such a move isn't entirely surprising for a band that's remained together for so many years, but the rockers still have one foot in the style that launched the act to superstardom. To this day, it's on hard rock-leaning charts where the band can typically be found. And it's on one of those tallies where the beloved rockers reach a major milestone for the very first time. "Livin' on a Prayer" Reaches Half a Decade on the Chart Bon Jovi regularly appears on both the Hard Rock Streaming Songs and Hard Rock Digital Song Sales charts. These rankings track the most streamed and bestselling individual tunes in the U.S. within the hard rock genre. The group continues to live on the streaming-only list this frame, with "Livin' on a Prayer" slipping one spot to No. 21 as the favorite celebrates 260 weeks — exactly half a decade — on the tally. "You Give Love a Bad Name" and "Livin' on a Prayer" Despite being one of the most successful names in hard rock music, at least for a time, Bon Jovi has only sent a pair of singles to the Hard Rock Streaming Songs chart. "Livin' on a Prayer" is both the highest-peaking and longest-running from the band, as it reached as high as No. 4 and has now spent exactly five years on the ranking. "You Give Love a Bad Name" only debuted on the tally in May 2024, and climbed to a peak of No. 22 during its seven-week run. Bon Jovi Joins Linkin Park, Metallica and AC/DC Five years is a long time for any one track to appear on a Billboard list, but "Livin' on a Prayer" isn't alone in its achievement. In fact, of the 25 spots on the Hard Rock Streaming Songs chart, nine of the tunes that fill those slots have reached 260 frames. Included in that elite group alongside Bon Jovi's cut are a number of titles tied for the longest run ever on the tally — 263 weeks — including both "In the End" and 'Numb' by Linkin Park, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica, "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC, and several others.
