Woman arrested after man stabbed outside shop in Moss Side

A woman has been arrested after a man was stabbed outside a shop.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) was called to the incident outside Richie and Nickie Liquor Store, Princess Road, Moss Side at around 10.20pm on Sunday 11 August.
Officers say the victim was taken to hospital with stab wounds that are not thought to be life-threatening.
Emergency services attended the scene after a large number of people had gathered, following big weekend celebrations of the annual Caribbean Carnival.
A woman was arrested "swiftly" on suspicion of assault, and remains in police custody, the force said.
A GMP spokesperson added that patrols "will remain in the area today and this week" following the attack.
