Bristol: Homes in Ashton Vale evacuated amid emergency response
Residents have been evacuated from their homes amid a major emergency services response. Avon and Somerset Police has not confirmed the exact nature of the incident in the Ashton Vale area of Bristol, but a number of homes have been evacuated around Risdale Road. A road closure is currently in place on South Liberty Lane and multiple police vehicles and officers are in the area. A spokesperson for Avon Fire & Rescue Service has confirmed crews are "currently assisting in the response to a police-led incident in the South Liberty Lane area of Bristol".
