Ajay Devgn Has THIS Reaction When Asked About Casting Nysa Devgan In Kajol's Maa
Last Updated: Recently, in a conversation at News18's Rising Bharat Summit 2025, Kajol addressed ongoing speculation regarding her daughter Nysa Devgn's entry into the film industry. Kajol starrer mythological horror film Maa trailer has been released today. The story has impressed fans. During the trailer launch, Ajay Devgn was asked whether he had considered casting his daughter, Nysa Devgan, in the film. The film Maa is releasing on June 27. Ajay responded, 'She is not interested in this kind of work," shutting down speculation about Nysa's potential entry into Bollywood. Recently, in a conversation at News18's Rising Bharat Summit 2025, Kajol addressed ongoing speculation regarding her daughter Nysa Devgn's entry into the film industry. She stated that Nysa currently has no plans to pursue a career in acting. Talking at the Summit, the Do Patti actress said, 'Bilkul I 22 saal ki ho gaye wali hai abhi.. I think she has made up her mind that ki nai aane wali hai abhi." The trailer of Maa has been released, giving a spooky glimpse into Kajol's new horror film. It starts with her driving through a dark, scary road with her daughter when a dead body suddenly crashes onto their car. Later, Kajol takes her daughter to an old mansion and warns her not to go anywhere without asking. But the daughter gets curious and asks another girl living there to show her a locked-off part of the house. Though the girl is unsure at first, they end up going there—and she says, 'No one comes here and everybody says, rakshas lives here." Directed by Vishal Furia and featuring Indraneil Sengupta, Kherin Sharma and Ronit Roy, MAA, is the story of a mother who becomes Kali to end a demonic curse rooted in fear, blood, and betrayal. Presented by Jio Studios and Devgn Films, Maa is produced by Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande and co-produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak. The film is set for a theatrical release on 27th June 2025. Along with Kajol, the film also features an ensemble cast including Kherin Sharma, Roy, Indraneil Sengupta, Jitin Gulati, Gopal Singh, Surjyasikha Das, Yaaneea Bharadwaj, Roopkatha Chakraborty in significant roles.
