Bhavans- Bahrain Indian School (BIS) celebrated the joyous occasion of Eid Al Adha with a cultural assembly that brought together students, teachers, and staff in a spirit of harmony and festivity. The event reflected the school's commitment to nurturing cultural awareness, mutual respect, and spiritual values among its students. Students took to the stage with a well-performed skit on Islamic values, emphasizing principles such as kindness, humility, and honesty. A highlight of the assembly was a short mime act that illustrated how to perform Tawaf in Madina, which offered a unique, visual insight into this important ritual. A Hindi Nasheed followed. A special highlight of the celebration was a Qawwali performance by kindergarten students. The kindergarten students. dressed in colorful traditional attire also performed a short skit on the significance of Eid, Following the cultural programme, students participated in Eid-themed craft activities. The day concluded on a sweet note with the distribution of traditional treats to all, reinforcing the message of sharing and joy that defines Eid. The School Directors. Himanshu Verma and Ritu Verma appreciated the students' efforts and highlighted the significance of Eid as a festival of unity, compassion, and spiritual reflection. Principal Saji Jacob addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech, highlighting the essence of Eid and the importance of celebrating it with unity and gratitude.

The event showcased weeks of training aimed at improving teachers' public speaking and leadership skills. Educators delivered prepared speeches and participated in impromptu speaking sessions that impressed audiences with their clarity and confidence. Celebrating communication skills The finale opened with a welcome address from School Director Himanshu Verma, who emphasised the vital role of effective communication in education and leadership. Participants spoke on a variety of topics including personal growth, leadership, societal issues and motivation, demonstrating their growth and eloquence. The impromptu speaking segment tested teachers' ability to think on their feet, adding an element of spontaneity to the occasion. All participants received certificates, while outstanding performers were recognised during an awards ceremony. School leaders commend participants Director Ritu Verma congratulated the participants for their dedication and progress in mastering public speaking. Principal Saji Jacob lauded the programme as a landmark initiative that would empower teachers in the classroom and beyond. The Speech Craft Finale was hailed as a celebration of determination, mentorship and the power of learning, encouraging educators to find their voice and inspire others.

The event highlighted the outstanding performances across various disciplines, recognizing both academic and extracurricular excellence. During the ceremony, students were presented with Achievement Awards for achieving the highest marks in their respective grades. This accolade reflects their dedication, hard work, and commitment to academic excellence. In addition, students who demonstrated exceptional commitment to their education were honored with 100% Attendance Awards, showcasing their dedication and perseverance throughout the year. The achievements extended beyond academics, as BIS students were also recognized for their participation in the SOF Olympiads, achievements in the National Genius Search Examination (NGSE)as well as sports and extracurricular activities throughout the year. The Directors of BIS Himanshu Verma and Ritu Verma expressed their pride in the students' accomplishments. In honour of Earth Day, Bhavans Bahrain Indian School (BIS) hosted a school-wide celebration on April 22nd , engaging students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 in a vibrant day of learning, reflection, and creativity aimed at promoting environmental awareness and action. Classrooms and hallways came alive as students across grades collaborated to create stunning Earth Day-themed board decorations. Science teachers across the school conducted engaging presentations and interactive sessions, enlightening students about climate change, renewable energy, the dangers of plastic pollution, and everyday steps we can take to reduce our carbon footprint. Adding a heartwarming touch to the celebration were inspiring stories of environmental change shared by students and staff. In another interactive segment, the 'Wheel of Plantation' added an element of excitement, selecting lucky classes to plant saplings as part of BIS's ongoing green initiative. Reflecting on the celebration, BIS Directors Himanshu Verma and Ritu Verma remarked, 'Let us embrace the journey towards conscientious living. Every action we take, no matter how small, contributes to a positive impact. Through our collective efforts, we strive for a brighter, greener future.' Bhavans Bahrain Indian School celebrated its Kindergarten Graduation Day, marking a significant milestone for the young graduates. The event featured a distinguished array of guests, including the Chief Guest, Muneera Aldoseri from the Directorate of Licensing and Follow-up of Private Schools, Ministry of Education, Kingdom of Bahrain. The event was attended by the School Directors, Himanshu Verma and Ritu Verma; Principal, Saji Jacob; Vice Principal, Dr. Preet Kamal Bhatnagar; and KG Coordinator, Sharil Dimri. Director Himanshu Verma expressed his pride in the students' achievements and emphasized the importance of nurturing a positive mindset as they transition to the next stage of their education. 'Today marks not just the end of a chapter in their educational journey, but the beginning of new and exciting adventures,' he stated.
