Macau-born singer Jenny Tseng recently fell victim to theft while at a London airport.
In a social media post on Thursday (July 17), the 72-year-old revealed that her luggage had been ransacked after she checked in for her flight, with her luxury winter coat and designer handbags among the items stolen.
The missing belongings were reportedly worth HK$56,016 (RM30,310) – significantly more than the price of her plane ticket.
'Wow, I opened my suitcase at home only to find everything valuable missing. You wouldn't believe it,' she said, as quoted by news portal Dimsum Daily.
Tseng added that the incident left her shaken and unable to sleep, prompting her to lodge a police report. She urged fellow travellers to be more cautious when checking in their luggage.
When fans asked if she had insurance, Tseng replied: 'Next time, I'll put a camera in my bag.'
The singer said she will stay in contact with the airline in hopes of resolving the issue, promising to keep her followers updated on any developments.
