Edmonton Symphony Orchestra's free concert series is returning to the metropolitan region in August.
The orchestra will perform four times between Aug. 14 and 24 in Devon, Fort Saskatchewan, Beaumont and Stony Plain.
Each concert will consist of a variety of types of music, from classics by Mozart to pieces from films like The Phantom of the Opera and Finding Nemo.
Robert Bernhardt will conduct all of the shows.
'It's wonderful to provide this opportunity for communities to come together once again. These concerts foster connections and celebrate the joy of live music in the great outdoors,' said orchestra and Winspear Centre president and CEO Annemarie Leenhouts-Petrov.
The orchestra began putting on free concerts in the summer of 2021 as a way for communities to gather during pandemic restrictions.
Re/Max now sponsors the event.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own seating.
