Local skating rink hosts May the Fourth be with you event
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Wigwam Skate and Event Center hosted their very own May the Fourth be with you event on Sunday.
At the event, those who attended got to skate, play games, win prizes, and had the opportunity to participate in a lightsaber contest.
Even special guest Dark Vader made an appearance.
President of Wigwam Skate and Event Center, Robert Kramer mentioned he enjoys hosting events for everyone to enjoy.
'Anytime I come to my own buildings and see kids rolling around, having fun, it's an exciting feeling,' said Kramer. 'This for me is not a job, it's a passion.'
On Monday, the local skate center is hosting a Cinco De Mayo event beginning at 5:30 p.m.
