Man charged after 'cannabis worth up to £102k' recovered in Alexandria

Cops attended a property on Baird Crescent at around 2.30pm on Tuesday, August 19. Police say they recovered a cannabis cultivation of around 170 plants with an estimated street value of between £42,500 and £102,000. A 33-year-old man has since been arrested and charged in connection with the recovery. He is due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Wednesday, August 20. The 33-year-old was arrested and charged in connection with the recovery of drugs at around 2.30pm on Tuesday, August 19, when officers attended a property on Baird Crescent, Alexandria. A cannabis cultivation of approximately 170 plants, with an estimated street value of between £42,500 and £102,000, was found there.
