Lana Del Rey Charts Back-To-Back Top 10 Hit Singles With 'Bluebird'

Lana Del Rey lands another top 10 with 'Bluebird,' which debuts at No. 9 on the Alternative Digital ... More Song Sales chart as fans await her next full-length. PARIS, FRANCE - AUGUST 21: Lana Del Rey performs during the Rock en Seine Festival on August 21, 2024 in Paris, France. (Photo by) Lana Del Rey is on a winning streak once again. The singer-songwriter has a new album coming soon, though no one knows exactly when it will arrive. While she continues to tease the set, both recently-released singles released from the forthcoming project have become hits in the United States. Del Rey even manages to score back-to-back top 10 wins on one tally. Fans are ravenous for anything new from the superstar, and they seem excited about the slightly new sonic direction she's exploring – and they've shown that they're willing to purchase anything shared from the upcoming bestselling project. "Bluebird" is the latest single taken from Del Rey's as-yet-untitled upcoming full-length. The latest track debuts on four Billboard rankings this week. It succeeds largely thanks to sales, where it performs best. Del Rey's "Bluebird" flies into the top 10 on just one of the four tallies on which it arrives. It starts at No. 9 on the Alternative Digital Song Sales chart, which ranks only the top-selling tunes in that one style on platforms like iTunes and Amazon. The singer-songwriter collects her twenty-third top 10 smash on the Alternative Digital Song Sales ranking this frame. That total is a little more than half of the 41 tracks she has sent to the tally throughout her career. Last week, Del Rey debuted "Henry, Come On" on the same list, though in a higher position. That single opened at No. 4 on the Alternative Digital Song Sales chart. It also launched in nearly the same slot on the Rock Digital Song Sales tally, starting its time at No. 5. "Bluebird" also manages to flap its wings and appear on three other Billboard charts following its first full frame of availability in America. It nearly joins "Henry, Come On" in giving Del Rey back-to-back top 10s on the Rock Digital Song Sales chart — which she achieves on the alternative version of the list — but it misses the highest tier by two spots, kicking off its run at No. 12. The cut is also a winner on two consumption-based rankings. It opens at No. 21 on the Hot Alternative Songs list and at No. 25 on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart. "Henry, Come On" no longer appears on a number of the lists it debuted on last frame, but it does manage to spend a second week on a pair of tallies. It drops more than 10 spots on both the Hot Rock Songs (No. 23) and Hot Rock & Alternative Songs (No. 32) rankings. Del Rey manages to double up on the latter list, with both singles from her forthcoming full-length taking up space at the same time — and this may be the only instance of that happening.

Jack Black's ‘Minecraft' Single 'Steve's Lava Chicken' Debuts Inside The Top 10

Jack Black is rising higher and higher on the charts all around the world week after week with a brand new smash — one few could have seen coming. The singer and actor is lifting steadily across a handful of Billboard rankings this frame thanks to a tune pulled from one of 2025's biggest box office hits. A Minecraft Movie has quickly become one of the highest-grossing films of the year globally, and now its standout song, 'Steve's Lava Chicken,' helps Black notch another win. 'Steve's Lava Chicken' makes an immediate mark on the Rock Digital Song Sales chart this frame. The track, performed by Black himself, debuts at No. 6 on Billboard's list of the bestselling rock-only tracks in the U.S. The strong start shows just how much fans are loving not only the film, but its playful musical moments as well. Despite its impressive entrance, 'Steve's Lava Chicken' isn't the highest-ranking new arrival on the Rock Digital Song Sales chart. This frame, Ghost's 'Lachryma' and Lana Del Rey's 'Henry, Come On' both manage even loftier starts, entering at Nos. 4 and 5, respectively. Still, Black comes in close behind, landing just ahead of Hardy's 'Buck on the Wall' at No. 7 and Fontaines D.C.'s 'Starburster,' which bows at No. 8. The arrival of 'Steve's Lava Chicken' represents an important milestone for Black, as it's his first solo appearance on the Rock Digital Song Sales ranking. As one-half of the Grammy-winning duo Tenacious D, he's previously hit this tally, but only once. In March 2024, the band's cheeky cover of Britney Spears's "...Baby One More Time" debuted at No. 1. Now, just a little over a year later, he's back, and this time, he's flying solo. While its big debut on the Rock Digital Song Sales chart is impressive, 'Steve's Lava Chicken' is also present on other Billboard tallies as well. The A Minecraft Movie smash jumps from No. 21 to No. 14 on the Hot Rock Songs list, and it also ascends from No. 27 to No. 19 on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs tally. Those are new peaks for the title, which is reaches in just its second stint on the rosters.

Lana Del Rey's Latest Hit Debuts On A Huge Number Of Billboard Charts

Lana Del Rey's 'Henry, Come On' debuts on 10 Billboard charts, reaching the top 10 on two ... More genre-specific lists while previewing her forthcoming country-inspired album. PARIS, FRANCE - AUGUST 21: Lana Del Rey performs during the Rock en Seine Festival on August 21, 2024 in Paris, France. (Photo by) Lana Del Rey returns to the Billboard charts this week with her new single 'Henry, Come On' — and she makes quite the entrance. The track doesn't just appear on one or two tallies…it debuts on 10 different rankings at once. That's a solid showing for a song that hasn't yet become a runaway smash, but thanks to its cross-genre appeal, it manages to score an impressive number of placements across a wide range of lists. 'Henry, Come On' performs so well right out of the gate for two primary reasons. First, the single sold well enough to earn a spot on rankings that focus specifically on digital purchases, and it was streamed in solid numbers too, which brought it to tallies dedicated to those forms of consumption. Billboard classifies 'Henry, Come On' as both rock and alternative. That genre flexibility means the track can appear on tallies focused on each of those musical styles individually, as well as on combined rock and alternative rankings. It even reached some non-genre-specific lists. While 'Henry, Come On' reaches double-digit Billboard rankings in its debut frame, it manages to crack the top 10 on just two of them. The track starts at No. 4 on the Alternative Digital Song Sales chart and at No. 5 on the Rock Digital Song Sales list. Somewhat surprisingly, though, the tune doesn't sell quite enough to land on the all-genre Digital Song Sales tally this week. According to Luminate, 'Henry, Come On' sold 1,300 copies in the U.S. during its first full tracking frame. That figure is enough to make Del Rey's latest a top seller in her primary genres, but not quite enough to compete with the biggest releases across all styles at the moment. 'Henry, Come On' barely sneaks onto the Hot 100. The cut debuts at No. 90 this week, showing that while it's a bestseller in its genres and a fairly strong streamer, it hasn't yet crossed over and become a broader, mainstream hit, at least not yet. 'Henry, Come On' serves as the lead single from Del Rey's forthcoming album, which has gone through some notable changes recently. The full-length was originally titled Lasso, then briefly retitled The Right Person Will Stay. Now, it seems that the country hybrid set — one that will reportedly blend elements of Del Rey's signature sound with country influences — has changed names once again and currently doesn't have an official release date. Just one week after 'Henry, Come On' arrived, Del Rey dropped 'Bluebird,' the second single from the still-untitled project. That track is expected to hit the Billboard charts in the coming days.

Linkin Park Charts A Brand New No. 1 In America

Linkin Park's 'Up From the Bottom' hits No. 1 on Billboard's Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart, ... More adding another win to the band's long list of rock smashes. HAMBURG, GERMANY - SEPTEMBER 22: (EDITOR'S NOTE: alternative crop) Mike Shinoda and Emily Armstrong of Linkin Park perform at Barclays Arena on September 22, 2024 in Hamburg, Germany. (Photo by Joern Pollex/Redferns) Linkin Park is back on top. The band, which has been known to dominate Billboard's rock charts regularly, returns to familiar territory this week as its latest single becomes a quick leader. The track 'Up From the Bottom' vaults to No. 1 on one ranking shortly after arriving, as it's clear that there was a huge interest in more new music from the outfit. Last week, 'Up From the Bottom' earned a limited showing across Billboard's rankings. It managed to debut on just two tallies, primarily due to its late arrival during one tracking frame. Despite that handicap, it still managed to emerge as a quick bestseller, opening high on both the Rock Digital Song Sales and Hard Rock Digital Song Sales charts. This week, with a full frame of sales, streams, and radio spins behind it, the cut leaps across the board. On the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales tally, the group climbs from No. 5 to No. 1, landing a new leader on the genre-specific list. As it soars, 'Up From the Bottom' becomes Linkin Park's fourteenth No. 1 on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart. In 2024, the band collected two new winners, as both 'The Emptiness Machine' and 'Heavy Is the Crown,' taken from the full-length From Zero, reached the pinnacle of the tally. Those tracks held on for two and three frames at No. 1, respectively. 'Up From the Bottom' is the latest addition to an already-impressive résumé. Throughout the years, Linkin Park has watched several of its most beloved tracks not just reach No. 1, but stay there for a long time. 'Burn It Down' leads as the band's longest-reigning champion, as it once held the top spot for an incredible 29 weeks. Another standout, 'In the End' — the breakout single that helped define the band as global superstars — dominated the same chart for 11 frames. Linkin Park has placed 40 different songs onto the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales list, and an astounding 30 of those have broken into the top 10. Now that the track has had a full tracking week to perform, it reaches several other tallies. 'Up From the Bottom' debuts on more than 10 additional Billboard charts, and it's an immediate smash on several of them. The single is performing best on the rock-leaning rankings, which comes as no surprise. It lands inside the top 10 on half a dozen different tallies, including some that factor in streaming and radio play, as well as pure purchases. 'Up From the Bottom' is not a standalone hit. The song serves as the lead single from a deluxe reissue of From Zero, the band's most recent full-length, which is expected sometime soon. That album dropped in late 2024 and was framed as a comeback effort, as it arrived more than half a decade after the death of Chester Bennington. Despite the tragedy, the band pushed forward, and From Zero quickly became a commercial and critical win. Its opening single, 'The Emptiness Machine,' helped drive early success, while follow-up tunes – every single one on the project, actually – became a chart win in one respect or another.

Linkin Park's New Single Rocks Right Into The Top 10

Linkin Park's new single 'Up From the Bottom' debuts on two Billboard charts, helping the band score ... More its thirtieth top 10 on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales list. HAMBURG, GERMANY - SEPTEMBER 22: Emily Armstrong and Dave "Phoenix" Farrell of Linkin Park performs at Barclays Arena on September 22, 2024 in Hamburg, Germany. (Photo by Joern Pollex/Redferns) It's been years since Linkin Park dominated the Billboard charts with the kind of consistency and impact the band has managed in the past several months. This week, the Grammy-winning act is back with a brand new track, 'Up from the Bottom,' and while the tune doesn't explode out of the gate as some recent releases have, it still finds room to shine on the charts. Linkin Park's new single manages to break onto a pair of Billboard charts this frame. Its strongest showing comes on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart, where it debuts at No. 5. That ranking tracks the bestselling digital songs in the U.S. that the company classifies specifically as hard rock — an important distinction that gives the group a better shot at climbing higher. Thanks to the quick success of 'Up From the Bottom,' Linkin Park has now scored 30 top 10 hits on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart. That's a milestone few acts have even approached in the tally's years-long history. Out of the 40 songs Linkin Park has pushed to this tally — which at one point featured more than 10 positions — almost all of them have reached the upper tier. 13 of those tracks have gone all the way to No. 1. 'Up From the Bottom' doesn't face much competition when it comes to new arrivals on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart. In fact, it's the only debut this frame. Behind Linkin Park, two familiar favorites return to the tally. Ram Jam's 'Black Betty' reappears at No. 8, while Creed's 'Higher' sneaks back in at No. 10. That latter tune has now spent 52 weeks — a full year — somewhere on the list. Beyond the hard rock-specific chart, 'Up From the Bottom' also manages to place on the more broadly-defined Rock Digital Song Sales chart. That tally includes everything from soft rock to alternative to metal, so it's no surprise that Linkin Park's new track performs slightly worse there. This time around, the song launches at No. 14 on the Rock Digital Song Sales chart. With this cut, Linkin Park has now sent 47 different tunes to this particular list. 'Up From the Bottom' wasn't released as a standalone single. The song serves as the lead promotional push for the forthcoming deluxe edition of From Zero, Linkin Park's most recent album. That collection dropped in the fall of 2024 and marked the band's formal return following the tragic death of frontman Chester Bennington more than half a decade ago. Since it arrived, From Zero has performed well across various charts, and its standout singles, like 'Heavy Is the Crown' and 'The Emptiness Machine,' have become some of the most successful rock releases in recent memory.
