But the Rolipo handheld steamer has impressed one customer with a specific health condition, who was initially sceptical but then over-joyed, saying: "Thought it was a gimmick but now I use it more than the iron. It's much more convenient than getting the iron out, and then the ironing board. Then putting everything back. I have carpal tunnel in my wrist and avoided getting one years ago as they were too heavy. But now they are much lighter for me to use. Lighter than the iron. Brilliant."
However one buyer was not so happy, saying: "Larger and heavier than I expected. Would have taken quite a bit of room in my carry-on luggage. Needed something smaller, had to return.
