This breathtaking coastal drive is the hottest road trip in Australia right now (spoiler: it's not the Great Ocean Road)
Indicators at the ready! The Great Ocean Road is undoubtedly the most iconic road trip in Australia, but it's time for Victoria's crown jewel to step (or swerve) to the right. Another breathtaking coastal drive has stolen the spotlight as Australia's top trending road trip for 2025, and it packs in arguably more jaw-dropping sights. But hey, we'll let you be the judge of that one… To uncover the top-trending routes, the car insurance experts at Rollin' analysed year-on-year online search data for 22 of Australia's most popular road trips. Leading by a long way, the Great Barrier Reef Drive sped into first place, recording a remarkable 117 per cent jump in online monthly searches over the past year. Starting in Cairns, this 140-kilometre journey follows the coast north to Port Douglas and then over to the Great Barrier Reef, where travellers can live out their Little Mermaid dreams. We suggest making a pit stop at Mossman Gorge to swim in croc-safe waters, or take a guided Dreamtime walk through the ancient Daintree Rainforest. From there, continue cruising up to Cape Tribulation, where two immense World Heritage-listed wonders (the reef and the rainforest) meet together in perfect harmony. Australia's second-hottest road trip right now is the Grand Pacific Drive from Sydney to the Sapphire Coast, which saw an 83 per cent surge in searches. This scenic journey is another favourite for travellers chasing epic ocean views and dramatic cliffside landscapes – and it also brags what might be the most photogenic stretch of road in Australia: the legendary Seacliff Bridge. The third trendiest road trip is Western Australia's 1,200 kilometre South West Edge from Perth to Esperance, which saw a 33 per cent increase in search interest. Rounding out the top five were two other WA gems: the Gibb River Road and Cape to Cape, both recording a 22 per cent jump in searches. You can discover more of Australia's favourite road trips here. Limp Bizkit set to rock Abu Dhabi this summer
The band is finally bringing its neck-breaking anthems to the capital. Abu Dhabi is stepping up its game this year. With a lineup of concerts that already includes Guns n' Roses, Enrique Iglesias, Toto, and Jennifer Lopez, the capital is all set to rock like never before. And now, adding even more fire to this list is Limp Bizkit. Taking place on Tuesday, 12 August, Limp Bizkit will take over Etihad Arena on Yas Island for what's sure to be a head-banging concert. Expect a show packed with nostalgic anthems that are guaranteed to strain your neck muscles. For those unversed, Limp Bizkit was formed in the mid-90s and exploded onto the music scene with its signature blend of rap and rock. Hailing from Florida, America, the band is fronted by Fred Durst and quickly gained massive popularity with tracks like Break Stuff, Rollin', My Way, and the popular cover of Faith by George Michael. Their album Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water sold over a million copies in its first week alone, cementing their place in the Music Hall of Fame. Throughout their career, they've snagged multiple awards and toured the world, wowing fans for years, and now they're making their way to the UAE. Limp Bizkit was originally slated to perform in Dubai back in 2008, but the show never materialized — leaving fans disappointed and craving a chance to see them live. Fast forward to 2025, and the wait is finally over. The band is making a return, and this time, Etihad Arena will be the spot for all the action. So if you're a fan, stretch your neck, crack your back and keep your chiropractor appointments booked. Presale tickets for Limp Bizkit go live on Thursday, 24 April at 12pm, whereas general sales kick off on Friday, 25 April at 12pm. But you'll want to be quick because this one's going to be a sell-out. GO: Visit for more information.

Limp Bizkit is coming to Abu Dhabi in August
'Rolling back' the years, and how… One of the world's premier Nu Metal brands, Limp Bizkit, has been confirmed to perform at the Etihad Arena on August 12 this year, and at this point, it's anyone's guess how much bigger, better and unbelievable Abu Dhabi's roster of upcoming shows is about to get. For one, I had to pull over at a parking lot to write this piece up, when I learnt Live Nation Entertainment was bringing the OG boombox of late 90s/early 2000s high-energy, chaotic, rock-rap-metal rebellion to the UAE capital. Images: supplied, Getty Known for tracks such as Take a Look Around ( cue Tom Cruise full throttle on a Triumph Speed Triple in Mission: Impossible 2), Rollin', Behind Blue Eyes, Break Stuff (hello, Woodstock '99), Nookie , and Boiler, the band, comprising frontman Fred Durst, guitarist Wes Borland, bassist Sam Rivers, drummer John Otto and DJ Lethal redefined what it meant to take over an arena around the turn of the millennium. You can look forward to those tracks and more at the Etihad Arena this summer, so plan your travels accordingly. Get your tickets to the show when they come out later this week, and you'll understand why My Generation had the best music. Limp Bizkit to make long-awaited Middle East debut in Abu Dhabi
Limp Bizkit will be rolling into Abu Dhabi this August. The nu-metal titans are set to make their regional debut at Etihad Arena on August 12 as part of their expanding Loserville Tour – an ironic moniker that captures the band's enduring appeal despite no longer being part of the current pop conversation. That self-awareness – hilariously embraced by frontman Fred Durst with his prematurely white beard and knowingly retro stage persona – hasn't dulled the band's explosive live energy. Limp Bizkit still deliver anthems such as Rollin', My Way and Nookie with the same rebellious spirit that beguiled a generation about 30 years ago. Indeed, one of their biggest hits – Break Stuff – turns 25 next month and remains a defining sound of the once-dominant nu-metal genre, led by the riff machine that is guitarist Wes Borland, the deft scratches of turntablist DJ Lethal, and Durst's love-it-or-hate-it yelping raps. Their latest album, 2021's Still Sucks, proves the fire is still there – staying true to their rap-rock roots, especially in swaggering singles such as Dad Vibes. Limp Bizkit's arrival should also soothe the souls of their most enduring regional fans, with the group having cancelled their planned headlining appearance at the inaugural Dubai Desert Rock Festival in 2004. Their long-awaited debut comes only days after Metallica announced their return to Abu Dhabi – performing as part of the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix after-race concerts – and ahead of Guns N' Roses' show at Etihad Arena in May, showing that UAE rock fans have plenty to look forward to in the coming months. Pre-sale tickets will be available from the Live Nation website at midday on Thursday, with general sale beginning at the same time on Friday
