Alleged shabu supplier in Metro Manila nabbed with P14M worth of drugs
A buy-bust operation in Batasan-San Mateo Road in Quezon City led to the arrest of an alleged supplier of shabu and the seizure of the illegal drugs worth almost 14 million.
According to a "24 Oras" report by Emil Sumangil on Wednesday, the suspect was arrested by two undercover police agents after confirmation that he was carrying contraband.
'Base mga impormasyon na na-extract natin during the custodial debriefing report, kilo-kilo ang binabagsak niya na shabu sa kaniyang mga big-time pushers na mga customers from Pasig, Marikina, Antipolo, and Quezon City,' said Quezon City Police Department Station 6 Station Commander Police Lieutenant Colonel Romil Avenido.
(Based on information we extracted during the custodial debriefing report, he had been supplying several kilograms of shabu to his big-time pusher customers from Pasig, Marikina, Antipolo, and Quezon City.)
'Ang station commander po natin diyan ay nakikipagcoordinate din sa adjacent municipalities ng Rizal... para sa ating intel fusion, nagpapalitan po tayo ng intelligence report at target personalities,' added Quezon City Police Department officer-in-charge Police Colonel Randy Glen Silvio.
(Our station commander there had coordinated with adjacent municipalities from Rizal… for our intel fusion, we have been exchanging intelligence reports and target personalities.)
Authorities were able to seize two kilograms of shabu worth P14 million from the suspect, who was identified as a painter who had also been jailed for previous charges involving illegal drugs.
'Bago ito, kami ay na-surprise din… During the buy-bust, one kilo lang ang pinag usapan namin, only to find out two kilos pala ang laman,' said Avenido.
(Before this, we were also surprised… During the buy-bust, we only discussed one kilo, only to find out that he was carrying two kilos.)
'Mayroon po tayong na develop tayong link analysis... Mayroon na rin tayong initial info sa kanyang source,' he added.
(We have developed link analysis… We have initial info regarding his source.)
Meanwhile, the suspect said that he was only ordered to deliver the drugs.
'Pinahatid lang sakin 'yun... Napagutusan lang ako... Sa hirap ng buhay kaya sumunod ako,' said the suspect.
