KUCHING City FC delivered a commanding performance with a 4-0 victory over Kelantan The Real Warriors (KTRW) in the Super League at the State Stadium in Kuching. Cameroonian striker Ronald Ngah Wanja was the standout performer, netting twice in the sixth and 71st minutes. Timor Leste's Joao Pedro added to the tally with a 17th-minute strike, while Muhammad Ramadhan Saifullah Usman sealed the win in stoppage time. In another match, PDRM FC staged a dramatic comeback to hold Brunei's DPMM FC to a 2-2 draw at the Selayang Municipal Council Stadium. DPMM raced to an early lead with goals from Muhammad Ramadhan Sananta and Miguel Oliveira in the third and sixth minutes. PETALING JAYA: Kuching City are off to a flying start in the Super League after thrashing Kelantan 4-0 at the State Stadium in Kuching on Saturday (Aug 9). The side, coached by Singaporean Aidil Sharin, produced a stylish performance in front of 8,000 fans to start the season with three points. Cameroonian Ronald Ngah Wanja had a debut to remember when he scored two goals in the sixth and 71st minute for the Cats. The other goals were scored by Timor Leste winger Joao Pedro (17th) and winger Ramadhan Saifullah (93rd). In the other night match, Brunei announced their return to the Malaysian League after 16 years with a draw against Police. The side led by Jamie McAllister were held by the Cops 2-2 at the Selayang Stadium with Indonesian striker Ramadhan Sananta stealing the show with a goal and an assist. The 22-year-old, who joined Brunei from Persis Solo, scored in the third minute and three minutes later, assisted Portuguese playmaker Miguel Oliveira. Police's fightback was orchestrated by South Korean midfielder Park Tae-su, who scored in the 68th and 72nd minute. In the evening fixture, Kuala Lumpur beat newcomers Immigration 3-0 at the Batu Kawan Stadium in Penang. Goals were scored by playmaker Safawi Rasid (56th), Argentinian winger Manuel Hidalgo (83rd) and an own goal from Immigration captain Rizal Ghazali in the 30th minute.
