Woman Crushed To Death By SUV In Roorkee, CCTV Footage Surfaces; Cops Launch Probe

A woman on her way to work was killed in a road accident on Sunday morning after being hit by an SUV making a right turn near Roorkee's Kotwali area. The victim, identified as Kirti from the Khanjarpur area, was run over by the SUV near Jadugar Road in the Kotwali area, said officials. The incident was captured on CCTV. The footage shows Kirti walking with an umbrella when a white SUV approaching from the opposite direction ran over her. Although the vehicle stopped immediately, she became trapped under the right front wheel.
