Was Rose Hanbury at the 2025 Trooping the Colour? Here's What We Know
The usual guests were in attendance at the Trooping the Colour ceremony this year: the Wales family, King Charles III, Queen Camilla, and more. But a lot of fans were wondering, will Kate's buddy Rose Hanbury be in attendance? Turns out, she was nowhere to be seen at the event, and has seemingly never gone to Trooping the Colour.
Rose has gone to numerous royal events over the years, including Charles' Coronation, Prince Philip's memorial, and the late Queen Elizabeth II's funeral. (In fact, her son Lord Oliver even played a major role at the Coronation.) But Trooping the Colour? Nothing.

Now, Trooping the Colour is an annual, ceremonial military parade to mark the official birthday of the British monarch. Rose is quite close with the royal family, so it's a bit of a shocker that she wasn't there.
However, eagle-eyed fans did notice that she may have thrown a party ahead of the big day, so she wasn't entirely free.
Rose resides at the Houghton Hall manor in Norfolk, where she runs the Instagram account. Yesterday, the account posted a photo saying, '@houghton_walled_garden at its peak right now 💜.'
Someone commented, saying, 'And we Have The big event tonight!¡!😍.' which the Hall account liked. So, what was this event?
It was the Walled Garden at Dusk event, where patrons can drink and walk around the award-winning five-acre walled garden at Houghton Hall, which is one of their bestselling events.
While it had nothing to do with Trooping the Colour, it did show fans that Rose has her hands full.
For those who don't know, Kate and Rose have been considered best friends for years. There was a time when they weren't often together, leading many to believe there was a falling out and thus, those affair rumors started. (Keep in mind that the Rose and Prince William affair rumors were proven false time and time again, so none of that!)
However, after Rose reportedly reached out to Kate amid her health problems, it seems the two reconnected. Plus, there was that time in 2023 when Kate was seen at Houghton Hall for an event.
