Texas A&M lands 2026 4-star OT out of Clearwater (FL)

Texas A&M lands 2026 4-star OT out of Clearwater (FL) Texas A&M's success recruiting elite offensive linemen has been mightly impressive under head coach Mike Elko and O-line coach Adam Cushing, who recently signed six offensive linemen in the 2025 recruiting cycle aren't slowing down, as 2026 four-star offensive tackle Samuel Roseborough committed to the Aggies on Monday night. Florida had been a recruiting pipeline for former Texas A&M head coach Jimbo Fisher and has been re-established under Elko after beating out Florida State and the Texas Longhorns for the standout blocker, who has played both ways during his last two seasons as a defensive lineman. Playing primarily as right tackle during his 2024 junior season, Roseborough has continued to improve as a pass protector and has been a difference-maker in the run game. Again, beasting out Florida State for a player from Clearwater (FL) while out-recruiting Texas, who has also dominated in O-line recruiting under coach Steve Sarkisian, is highly notable. Standing at 6-4 and 185 pounds, Roseborough will likely shift inside at either right or left guard at the next level, and due to his elite run-blocking skillset, this should be a seamless transition. Roseborough is the first offensive line commit in Texas A&M's 2026 class, and likely won't be the last. According to 247Sports Composite, Roseborough is currently positioned as the 142nd-ranked prospect in the 2026 class, the 8th-ranked interior offensive lineman, and the 17th-ranked prospect in Florida. LSU football makes final five for top-10 2026 offensive lineman

LSU football made the cut for an elite offensive line recruit in the 2026 cycle. According to a report from On3's Hayes Fawcett on Tuesday, the Tigers are a part of Samuel Roseborough's top five. Texas, Texas A&M, Florida State and Ohio State make up the other four schools. Roseborough took at unofficial visit to Baton Rouge in December and said the overall environment separated the program from the rest. Advertisement "What sticks out to me mainly about LSU is the culture and how they develop up front," Roseborough said. A four-star offensive tackle, Roseborough ranks No. 7 at his position and No. 139 overall in the class, according to On3's Industry Rankings. The Clearwater, FL native is the No. 19 recruit in his home state. LSU holding a place in Roseborough's top five is huge, especially since early reports said he was high on both Texas teams and his home state schools in Florida State and Florida. Should he choose the Tigers, he would join the SEC's top 2026 class alongside fellow offensive line commitments Brysten Martinez and Jalen Chapman. According to On3's class rankings, LSU's 2026 class ranks No. 2 in college football, only trailing USC. LSU has two five-stars on board with Tristen Keys and Richard Anderson. Advertisement The Tigers have recruited the trenches well with Brian Kelly and offensive line coach Brad Davis. If LSU can land Roseborough, that trend continues. Texas A&M is a finalist to land 2026 4-star OL out of Clearwater (FL)

Texas A&M is a finalist to land 2026 4-star OL out of Clearwater (FL) Texas A&M has been in the running for one of the rising 2026 prospects, and things became much clearer this week, as four-star offensive tackle Samuel Roseborough out of Clearwater, Florida released his top five program list, and, unsurprisingly, the Aggies are competing with rival Texas, LSU, Florida State, and Ohio State for his commitment. What is suprising is the fact that head coach Mike Elko and O-line coach Adam Cushing were late to the game, offering Roseborough back in early February, so, making his top 5 at this point is a good sign, and Cushing has continued to make an immediate impact with nearly every offensive line prospect he and the program have come in contact with. After signing six offensive linemen in the 2025 class, led by five-star OT Lamont Rogers, Texas A&M has yet to land an O-lineman in the 2026 cycle, so making progress with Roseborough is a big step forward. This summer, the Florida native will take an official visit to all five of the teams on his list, including College Station on June 5. Standing at 6'5" and 285 pounds, Roseborough will need to gain weight once he enters the college ranks, but he is by far one of the best movers in the cycle, and is one of the best run blockers who can make his way to the second level much fast then most big men. According to 247Sports Composite, Roseborough is currently positioned as the 130th-ranked prospect in the class, the 7th-ranked interior offensive lineman, and the 16th-ranked prospect in Florida.
