Rotary Club of Nagpur Vision Installs Interact Club At School of Scholars, Atrey Layout
1 2 Nagpur: The Rotary Club of Nagpur Vision (RCNV) installed a new Interact Club at School of Scholars, Atrey Layout, marking a significant step in nurturing young leadership. The ceremony began with the lighting of the diya and prayers to Maa Saraswati. Principal Shilpa Newaskar lauded Rotary's spirit of service and compassion. Past president Akshata Deshmukh presented her report, highlighting projects like tree plantation and eco-brick pathways. President Sagarika Lakhe and her team were formally installed, with Sagarika stressing the importance of action, innovation, and responsibility. RCNV firector youth Amit Jeswani and president Dr Rashmi Shahu encouraged the young leaders to serve with purpose and vision. Interact Club secretary Isha Wanjari proposed a vote of thanks, followed by the Vande Mataram chant. The ceremony concluded with a tree plantation drive led by the new team. PP Jatin Sampat, PP Ajay Uplanchiwar, Shilpa Kelkar, Swati Belkhede, and Rahul Arya from Team Youth graced the event.

Rotary Club of Nagpur Vision's ‘Smiling Faces' Project Benefits Students From Two Schools
1 2 3 Nagpur: As part of its ongoing initiative Project Smiling Faces, Rotary Club of Nagpur Vision (RCNV) extended financial assistance to three deserving students on July 19. The cheque distribution ceremonies were held at the Deaf and Dumb School and Abhyudaya Global School in Saoner. A sum of ₹20,000 was donated to beneficiaries from the Deaf and Dumb School, while ₹30,000 was presented to students from Abhyudaya Global School. The donation for Abhyudaya Global School was generously contributed by PP Rajiv Behal, while the contributions for the Deaf and Dumb School were made by Akshay Daga, Sagar Mitkary, and Amit Jeswani. The event was graced by president Dr Rashmi Shahu, director Amit Jeswani, PP Gulab Mahant, PP Rajiv Behal, PP Vikram Naidu, Akshay Daga, Gagan Arora, and Shobha Daga. Representing Abhyudaya Global School, Sachin and Bhagyashree Deshpande attended the ceremony, while Durga Charde coordinated on behalf of the Deaf and Dumb School. Team Youth members Shilpa Kelkar, Swati Belkhade, and Hardeep Arora played active role in organising the event.

RCNV organises blood donation camp at Priyadarshini College
1 2 Nagpur: Rotary Club of Nagpur Vision (RCNV) started its new Rotary year with a blood donation camp held at Priyadarshini College of Engineering, Hingna. The first camp of the year was kickstarted by RCNV director (medical) Dr Girish Chhabrani, along with the chairs Komal Arya and Vani Chhabrani. As many as 55 units of blood were collected in the camp which was held in technical cooperation with Lifeline Blood Bank. RCNV's new president Dr Rashmi Shahu said, "The blood donation camp was our first project in this new Rotary year and I am happy that we were able to collect 55 units. The camp was aimed at collecting maximum units of blood from students and faculty of the college." Notably, the entire Board of Directors of the club for 2025-26 enthusiastically supported the camp. Special efforts were taken by Rahul Arya. The RCNV team thanked PCE principal Dr Shrikrishna Dhale and other staff to extending cooperation for the cause. RCNV conducts mental health workshop for SRPF jawaans
Nagpur: In a bid to promote mental wellness among security personnel, the Rotary Club of Nagpur Vision (RCNV) conducted a special mental health awareness session for the State Reserve Police Force (SRPF) jawans at their parade ground base camp on Friday. The initiative catered to nearly 300 personnel and comes at a time when the SRPF continues to play a pivotal role in maintaining law and order across the city. RCNV's consulting psychologist Kashish Jeswani led the session, emphasising the importance of acknowledging and processing difficult emotions. She conducted awareness exercises designed to help jawans respond better in challenging situations. She was joined by Meghana Deshmukh, a soul healer and practitioner of the love, peace and harmony meditation technique, who guided the participants through a calming meditation to foster inner peace. RCNV donates Rs1 lakh to Symbiosis Centre for Skill Development
1 2 3 Nagpur: In a notable gesture of social commitment, the Rotary Club of Nagpur Vision (RCNV) donated Rs1 lakh to the Symbiosis Centre for Skill Development (SCSD) during an event titled ' Saksham Daan – Empowering Through Giving'. The initiative is aimed at supporting skill training for students from underprivileged backgrounds , helping them build brighter, self-reliant futures. The event was held at Symbiosis International University's Nagpur campus and was graced by several dignitaries from RCNV, including president Jaishree Chhabrani, Kamal Chhabrani, district governor Rajinder Singh Khurana, secretary Mufazzal Fidvi, and treasurer Jugal Kishore Agarwal. SCSD, the skill training arm of SIU, offers both affordable and free programmes in areas such as English communication, mobile repair, graphic designing, beautician and grooming. In addition to nominally charged courses, SCSD also implements government-backed schemes like PMKVY and ACKVK to provide free training to eligible youth. President Jaishree Chhabrani congratulated the students and acknowledged Priyesh Vijayvargi for his generous support towards the 'Saksham Daan' programme. Expressing gratitude, Jaiprakash Paliwal, director of SCSD, said, "This contribution reaffirms the collective vision of Rotary and Symbiosis — to empower youth not just with skills, but with dignity, confidence, and purpose.
