Nearly $13K raised for Dayton Children's by rounding up
DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — In 2024, customers checking out at Rocky's Ace Hardware locations in the Dayton area raised nearly $13,000 for children in need.
According to Rocky's, $12,902.19 will be donated to Dayton Children's Hospital from company's 'Round Up for Kids' fundraiser. Customers had the opportunity to round-up to the next dollar amount to benefit local hospitals affiliated with the Children's Miracle Network Hospital.
Rocco Falcone, president at Rocky's Ace Hardware, said the company is grateful to continue to be a part of supporting CMN each year.
'It's humbling to see how generous our customers are,' said Falcone. 'This money helps fund critical life-saving treatments and innovative research. We hope it also gives patients and families the assurance that their community cares.'
Ten locations in the area were included in the total raised for supporting children.
