An airport bus route has been delayed MORNING DELAYS Busy Dublin city road BLOCKED following collision as major M50 alert issued to road users amid 'drive with caution' plea ROAD users in Dublin are facing several delays across the city and surrounding motorways due to several incidents this morning. And transport bosses have issued a "reduce speed" and "drive with caution" alert to motorists amid the chaos. Just after 9am a collision was reported on the Swords road in the capital. The crash is sitting just outside the Bonnington Hotel. As a result both lanes inbound have been completely blocked. And a collision on the M50 this morning has also caused significant delays for Irish motorists. The crash occurred just after 8am headed southbound on the busy stretch. The collision impacted Lane 1 between J12 Firhouse and J13 Dundrum. However, it has been over the past hour. Despite the resolve M50 road users are facing more significant delays this morning. This is due to debris sitting on the stretch headed southbound. The obstruction is sitting between 12 Firhouse and J13 Dundrum. They said: "When approaching the area please drive with caution and reduce your speed." BUS DELAYS Bus Eireann have also issued several updates for passengers this morning due to a number of incidents. The Route 333 8am service from Ennis to Kilkee operated 30 minutes behind schedule this morning. Bus Eireann said: "This service will operate approximately thirty minutes late. "Bus Eireann wish to apologise to passengers for any inconvenience." And in Cork one service has been axed completely. In an update this morning the bus chiefs confirmed the 8:10am ex Youghal to Cork service had been cancelled. Route 115 from Mullingar in Westmeath to Dublin has also been cancelled today. The 9am Wexford to Dublin Airport route is running 30 minutes behind schedule while the 7:50am Bunclody to Dublin service was 45 minutes delayed.

Irish motorists warned of delays after collision with public transport routes CANCELLED as Dublin Tunnel to close fully
IRISH drivers are being warned of delays this morning as a busy tunnel in the capital closes and public transport faces delays. In a post on They Dublin Tunnel Closure this Week: "03/07/25, Thursday : 21:30 to 04:30 - Full Tunnel Closure. " Over the course of a few days in the coming months, the tunnel is set to be closed from 9.30pm until 4.30am. These dates include July 3, 17 and 31. READ MORE IN IRISH NEWS In August, the tunnel will close from 9.30pm until 4.30am on the 14, 27 and 28. It will also close for the same time on September 11, 24 and 25. A number of Bus Eireann warned: "Please note the following disruption to our services in the South East/Eastern region on Monday 30th June 2025." Most read in Irish News Route NX, 109 and 109A are currently delayed due to a crash at Garlow Cross to Navan. Impacted stops include Garlow Cross/ 101361 and Dalgan Park / 132901. Gardai and RSA measures aimed at driving crash deaths on Irish roads The alternative stop is Johnstown / 189501. Route 101 at 7.40am will operate from Balbriggan, while Route 115 is cancelled. Route W5, W1 and W2 will operate at a reduced frequency until further notice, while the 8am and 8.50am 360 services are cancelled.
