State govt clears ₹27-crore plan for Bundgarden police station's new building

Pune: State govt has given administrative approval to the construction of Bundgarden police station's new administrative building at an estimated cost of Rs27 crore. Of the sanctioned cost, Rs26.17 crore has been budgeted for the current financial year. The remaining amount would be provisioned separately. "With the administrative approval through, we will have to appoint an architect, followed by a contractor. This would take around four months. After the appointments are made, the construction would be completed within a two-year time frame," said the senior public works department (PWD) official in charge of the project.
