Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC) has been one of the top rated TV shows in India for years now. Over the last 17 years and with more than 4,479 episodes, Taarak Mehta continues to capture its audience's attention with heartwarming comedy but the makers are now aiming at adding some cultural diversity to the hit show. Marking an exciting chapter for the iconic show, after Popatlal, another new family is set to make Gokuldham Society their permanent home. This Rupa Ratan family will add a touch of Rajasthani culture to the show. Created by Asit Kumarr Modi, this addition to the iconic show promises fresh humour, cultural vibrancy, and exciting storylines, enriching the show's 17-year-long legacy. Asit, the producer and creator of India's longest-running sitcom, shared a video recently, introducing the Rajasthani Rupa Ratan family. Dressed in traditional Rajasthani attire and arriving on ornately decorated camels, the family can be seen brings the vibrancy and warmth of their culture to Gokuldham Society in the introduction clip. The Gokuldham family has evolved over time, and we are thrilled to welcome a new Rajasthani family—Ratan and Rupa Binjola along with their children Veer and Bansari. Ratan Binjola, a Jaipur-based saree shop owner, is played by a well-known name in Gujarati cinema and television, Kuldeep Gor while his wife, Rupa Baditop is being played by actor Dharti Bhatt. She will be seen as a homemaker and influencer. Rupa and Ratan's kids, Veer (Akshaan Sehrawat) and Bansari (Maahi Bhadra), will be joining Tapu Sena as its youngest members. The Rupa Ratan family's arrival marks a significant moment for the show, weaving them into the other families' everyday life while adding new storylines with a different cultural family will make an entry in a traditional manner, arriving on decorated camels and dressed in vibrant Rajasthani clothes.
