Grand Chute man arrested after gun fired in road rage incident, authorities say
A 22-year-old man was arrested July 14 following a road rage incident involving a gunshot the previous day, according to the Grand Chute Police Department.
The Grand Chute man was taken to the Outagamie County Jail after a search warrant was issued for an address on North Milkwood Trail, where a vehicle involved in the incident was located.
The road rage incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. July 13 in the area of North Lynndale Drive and West Edgewood Drive, the police department said. A gunshot resulted in damage to the other vehicle and a injury to the hand of a person in the vehicle.
Lt. Russ Blahnik said the department will recommend a charge of first-degree reckless injury be filed against the Grand Chute man.
