The Post Office Retail Support worker said he was asked to join Megan and give the show another go - but he missed the email. 5 Ryan lasted just one day on the ITV hit show, where he went on a date with Shakira Khan and Toni Laites after the breakdown of their relationships with Harry Cooksley and Harrison Solomon. But despite having eyes for Emily Moran, who was booted from the Island after Tommy Bradley chose to recouple, Ryan didn't get chosen to stay. Megan and Blu strolled back into the villa in a shock bombshell twist, but Ryan revealed that could have been him. He shared a message from a follower on Instagram, who wrote: "Definitely should have sent you back in with Megan, would you go on All Stars?" Ryan responded to the message and said: "Well, it's quite a funny story, Love Island actually did email me, asking if I wanted to back in with Megan. Moments later, when no girls stepped forward for Ryan, the group assumed Alima and Ryan would be paired. But instead, a brutal twist revealed both were being dumped from the Island immediately. Ryan had only arrived on the show the day before and he had only slept in the villa for one night. To say his time on the show was short but sweet is an understatement. Now Ryan has taken a swipe at bosses, after only being on the ITV2 dating show for just one day. On Instagram he has changed his profile to read: "Didn't find love in 24 hours @loveisland." Speaking shortly after he was sent packing, Ryan said: "It's been a bittersweet experience, as I was only in there a short amount of time. "I wish I got an opportunity to turn a few more heads but it is what it is!" Asked what is favourite moment in the villa was, he replied: "The two dates were lovely, the place we went to was stunning and it was a nice way to be introduced.
