CohnReznick expands US presence with PIASCIK team integration

CohnReznick, a professional services firm, has combined with Virginia-based tax firm PIASCIK & Associates, effective 1 July 2025. This move is part of CohnReznick's growth strategy to integrate firms that enhance its 'client value proposition' and reinforce its 'people-first culture'. The addition of PIASCIK is set to strengthen CohnReznick's private clients services and international tax practices. PIASCIK's team is stated to possess tax expertise, which includes tax strategies for high-net-worth individuals, athletes, and international tax services. This combination also expands CohnReznick's geographic reach in the mid-Atlantic region, adding a Richmond office to its existing network in Metro DC, Baltimore, Charlotte, and South Florida. PIASCIK partners Steve Piascik and Ryan Losi will retain their client relationships while taking on expanded roles within CohnReznick. Piascik has been appointed as the Richmond Office managing partner, and Losi will join the international tax team. Koltin Consulting Group CEO Allan D. Koltin was the advisor for both firms on the deal. CohnReznick Advisory LLC CEO David Kessler said: 'We are very excited to have the PIASCIK team join CohnReznick. Steve Piascik and Ryan Losi have built a highly successful firm with an exceptional reputation in the marketplace.' 'Culture is the most important factor in long-term success and the PIASCIK team shares our commitment to driving a culture committed to outstanding client service, rewarding our people, and helping to make a difference in the many communities we serve.' Steve Piascik added: 'As the business landscape becomes increasingly complex and our profession continues to change, we sought a new platform to help us secure our next chapter of success. I am thrilled that CohnReznick will help us continue our legacy. With a robust strategy to propel success, CohnReznick shares our commitment to excellence and strategic growth.' In February 2025, CohnReznick secured investment from funds advised by Apax Partners, a private equity company.
