Possible tornadoes reported in Clark, Shelby counties
UPDATE: Shelby County Emergency Management Agency posted on social media that there was a possible tornado in the area of State Route 274 and Pasco-Montra Road near Anna around 9:21 p.m. The post indicates that corn crops in the 14000 block of Lochard Road were damaged. INITIAL REPORT: A possible tornado was reported in Clark County Saturday evening, according to Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Ryan Marando. [DOWNLOAD: Free WHIO-TV News app for alerts as news breaks] Live Doppler 7 Radar shows a signature in the area of W Ridgewood Road and Waltin Lane in Moorefield Township at approximately 9:39 p.m. An Ohio State Highway Patrol dispatcher confirmed that troopers are responding to reports of possible tornado damage in the area. The dispatcher added that they have no reports of injuries. The FirstEnergy Storm Center outage map shows that about 5,000 people in the area are without power. The National Weather Service did not issue any watches or warnings at the time of either storm. News Center 7 is working to learn more and will continue to follow this story. Marginal risk for showers, storms today; damaging winds, hail possible

Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Ryan Marando has the latest TIMING and IMPACTS today on News Center 7 at Noon. The heaviest will be late this morning. Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Britley Ritz says hydroplaning and loss of visibility are possible with heavier showers. Another round of scattered showers and storms is likely late this afternoon into the evening. 'Our atmosphere will be worked over with morning rain and storm chances,' said Ritz. 'It will be hard to maintain instability for afternoon storms.' The Storm Prediction Center has the area under a Marginal Risk for severe storms, a Level 1 out of 5. 'If anything turns severe, damaging wind will be the greatest threat,' she said. 'Small hail is possible, but the threat is much lower.' Rain chances will linger through Friday. Rainy, damp weekend throughout the Miami Valley
The Miami Valley will see a damp and rainy weekend. TMarando said the rain will not be as widespread as Saturday, but temperatures will remain cool in the lower 60s. The chance for showers will continue through Tuesday. Increasing threat for tornadoes, severe storms Wednesday night
The entire region remains in an 'enhanced,' or level 3 out of 5 risk, for severe storms Wednesday into Thursday with numerous severe storms possible. [DOWNLOAD: Free WHIO-TV News app for alerts as news breaks] The Storm Center 7 team of meteorologists are continuing to monitor the latest timing and severe threats from Wednesday night's storms. Storm Center 7′s Ryan Marando has the latest timing and track LIVE on News Center 7 at 5:00 and 6:00. All severe weather threats are possible from the storms including damaging straight-line winds, tornadoes, and hail. There is an increasing threat for tornadoes where the region could see some strong tornadoes, EF2 or higher, with winds over 110 mph. With the storms Wednesday, and then later through the weekend, there will be a threat for flooding with several inches of rainfall possible. A Flood Watch has been issued for the whole region, in effect from Wednesday night through Sunday morning.
