Samsung Galaxy S25 FE memory variants, colour options revealed in latest leak ahead of imminent launch

The wave around the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 seems to have settled, and it's time to move on to Samsung's next major launch, which is tipped to take place in September. For a while now, Samsung's next Fan Edition device, likely to be called the Galaxy S25 FE, has been rumoured to launch in September. According to the latest development, tipster Arsene Lupin has revealed the phone's colour options and variants. For context, the Galaxy S25 FE will be the successor to last year's Galaxy S24 FE and will be the fifth phone in the Galaxy S25 series, joining the S25, S25 Plus, S25 Edge, and S25 to the leak, the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is set to come in two RAM and storage variants: 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. To recall, the Galaxy S24 FE also launched with the same RAM and storage options, which means we're not looking at an upgrade in this department, at least. Apart from this, the phone is tipped to come in three colours: Navy and Icyblue — borrowed from the Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus — and Jetblack, borrowed from the Galaxy S25 Edge and S25 Ultra, minus the titanium Galaxy S25 FE: What to expect? From the leaked renders doing the rounds on the internet, it looks like the Galaxy S25 FE is going to retain the glossy glass finish we generally see with Galaxy S Fan Edition phones. While the phone may look strikingly similar to its predecessor, the biggest change is expected to be its sleek build. It is rumoured that the Galaxy S25 FE will be just 7.4mm thick and weigh 190 grams. This would make it significantly slimmer and lighter than the S24 FE, which is 8mm thick and weighs 213 grams. Despite the sleeker build, the Galaxy S25 FE is tipped to feature a slightly bigger battery than its predecessor — 4,900mAh compared to 4,700mAh on the older model. The phone is said to be powered by the Exynos 2400 SoC, the same chip that also powers the Galaxy S24 and S24 than this, the Galaxy S25 FE is rumoured to feature a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ display — probably the same Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel borrowed from the other Galaxy S25 phones. The display is tipped to be protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass Victus may be sticking to the same camera hardware on the Galaxy S25 FE as last year's S24 FE. Rumours suggest the Galaxy S25 FE will feature a 50-megapixel primary rear camera, paired with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. While the resolutions remain the same, it remains to be seen whether the company updates the sensors. However, the front camera seems to be getting an upgrade in the form of a 12-megapixel sensor, compared to the 10-megapixel sensor on the Galaxy S24 tuned to India Today Tech for all the updates on the Galaxy S25 FE as we approach the phone's expected launch in September.- Ends

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE phone with One UI 8 is in the works: What to expect

Samsung is reportedly working on the Galaxy S25 FE, a new smartphone in its Fan Edition series. According to a report by Live Mint, details about the device's colour options and storage variants have surfaced online, hinting at a familiar configuration similar to last year's S24 FE and new shades as of current Galaxy S25 lineup. The official launch is expected to take place around September. Samsung Galaxy S25 FE: What to expect According to the report, the Galaxy S25 FE is likely to be offered in two familiar storage configurations: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. It suggests that Samsung may not introduce higher storage variants for its Fan Edition this year either. In terms of colours, the phone could be available in Navy, Jet Black, and Icy Blue. The same shades are there on the current Galaxy S25 lineup. However, these colourways were not part of last year's S24 FE range, which indicates a shift toward aligning the Fan Edition's design more closely with the premium S25 series. As per the previous reports, the Galaxy S25 FE is expected to be powered by Samsung's Exynos 2400 chipset, the same processor used in the Galaxy S24 and S24+ models. The smartphone may feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ for added durability. Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S25 FE is largely expected to retain last year's design, but with a shift to Armour Aluminium, and become slimmer and lighter at 7.4mm thick and 190g (down from 8.0mm and 213g). For imaging, the device is expected to feature a 50MP main, 8MP 3x telephoto, and 12MP ultra-wide. However, the selfie camera will reportedly get an upgrade to 12MP, possibly with autofocus. On the software front, the Galaxy S25 FE is expected to ship with One UI 8 based on Android 16 and support seven years of OS updates and security patches. Battery capacity might be bumped to 4,900mAh (up from 4,700mAh), with 45W fast charging, an increase from 25W, while 15W wireless charging is also expected.

Fresh Galaxy S25 FE leak details storage variants and color options ahead of fall announcement

By no means Samsung's most exciting 2025 product, the Galaxy S25 Fan Edition has been making headlines for several months now, seemingly preparing quite a few important upgrades over its fall 2024-released predecessor. Of course, not everything about the inexpensive Galaxy S24 FE powerhouse will be changed this fall, and the latest rumor on X claims to reveal a couple of the key specifications unlikely to get an upgrade along with a very interesting (and largely reimagined) color palette. Navy; Icyblue; Jetblack; White. Because Samsung is not Motorola, there are no spectacularly eye-catching or groundbreaking new hues on the above list. But as familiar as those four colorways are likely to sound to many of the company's hardcore fans, it's definitely worth pointing out how different they actually are to the S24 FE's paint jobs. This terribly blurry picture is our first look at the upcoming Galaxy S25 FE in one of its expected color options. | Image Credit -- Evan Blass on X Last year's Galaxy S24 Fan Edition is available in blue, graphite, gray, mint, and yellow, so Samsung is basically looking to change all those options this year, which is both good and bad in my book. While I'm certainly excited to check out the S25 FE in the "vanilla" S25's Icyblue shade, not to mention a Galaxy S25 Ultra-style Jetblack colorway (sans the titanium build, of course), I can't say I'm too pleased with the prospect of Samsung killing off the sleek mint and yellow options. Then again, that list leaked by the generally reliable Arsène Lupin, aka @MysteryLupin, on X may not be comprehensive, so let's not abandon all hope of seeing the Galaxy S25 FE released in flashier hues as well. To date, the handset has been pictured in a white color, mind you, so that's probably the only version completely etched in stone for the time being. 128GB storage + 8GB RAM; 256GB storage + 8GB RAM. Now that's a completely unsurprising (and largely underwhelming) "list", which predictably starts at 128 gigs of local digital hoarding room and disappointingly lacks both a 512GB storage variant and 12GB memory option. Clearly, Samsung is primarily focused on keeping the S25 FE's price point as low as possible, although it's probably not very realistic to hope that the new phone will be cheaper than its predecessor. Instead, I expect the S24 FE's $650 starting price to go unchanged, making Samsung's 2025 Fan Edition handset significantly costlier than Google's Pixel 9a, for instance, but also most likely cheaper than the "vanilla" Pixel 10. The S25 FE could be just as affordable (or as expensive) as the S24 FE. | Image Credit -- PhoneArena Despite rocking a slimmer waist and an overall more elegant design, the S25 Fan Edition is impressively also tipped to bump up its predecessor's battery capacity from 4,700 to 4,900mAh. Unfortunately, no major improvements for the 50 + 8 + 12MP triple rear-facing camera system have been reported so far, and the 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display is virtually guaranteed to stay unchanged in terms of size and resolution as well. All in all, Samsung is certainly not looking to revolutionize affordable Android high-enders here, nonetheless aiming to make you an offer you can't refuse in September or October... if you can't afford or don't like the compact Galaxy S25 for whatever reason.

Get a free Samsung Galaxy Watch - tech editor shares where to find it

Our tech commerce editor has found a way to get a Samsung smartwatch for free A smartwatch is often considered one of the best accessories to pair with a phone, a close contender to a speedy pair of wireless earphones. Whether it's the newest Apple Watch Ultra, a flagship Galaxy Watch, or a cheaper fitness-based alternative like Fitbit or Garmin. Anyone on the lookout for an Android-pairing wearable, we've found a way to get a Samsung Watch completely free. The Galaxy Watch7 BT usually retails for more than £280, but it's been slashed to £0 for Carphone Warehouse shoppers. The catch is, consumers will have to buy a Samsung mobile to claim the 2024 model. As a tech commerce editor, scouring sites for deals and standout perks is something I do each day, and it's not often you see a free smartwatch offered to shoppers - I've rounded up exactly what shoppers need to do to qualify. First up, the handset. The deal is only available on the S24 FE device, the 'fan edition' of last year's S range. As a quick background, this model is designed to offer similar features to the Galaxy S24 range but cuts back on processor speeds and sensors to justify the cheaper price. Another thing worth flagging to S24 FE shoppers, is the handsets cameras aren't as advanced as the standard S24 range. In comparison to the S24 usual £759 price - or now £659 in Samsung's sale - the S24 FE is £599 at Carphone Warehouse. But there's also the option to pick an iD Mobile plan and spread the cost across a 24-month plan - although we'd should point out that this comes with an £89.99 upfront fee. Buying a brand-new mobile isn't the only way to get a good deal on a wearable accessory. Amazon is offering a cheaper price on the fitness Fitbit trackers - this Inspire 3 model is now £58.99. The Garmin Forerunner, which is a step up from Fitbit with advanced training guidance, is reduced to £122.99 at Amazon too. The next point to flag is crucial, and not one made obvious on the shopping listing. The free watch is only available to claim to shoppers who pick a specific colour of the S24 FE mobile - green to be precise. This can be found in the small print of the Samsung T&C's - which we trailed through, here. Once Samsung shoppers have bought the Galaxy S23 FE mobile, they have 30 days after purchase to claim the £0 Galaxy Watch, of course with proof of purchase and by the July 29 deadline. And there's lots of retailer options. Personally, this is a part of the offer which I rate, as shoppers can take their own time to compare prices about the participating retailers. Which include Sky Mobile, so ideal for pay-as-you-go consumers, Very, Asda Mobile and Argos (to name a few). For those contemplating rival Sky Mobile, the handset starts at £18 per month, with data added on top. The provider is also running an offer on data anyone who picks 25GB of monthly data will get it doubled for free for a 12-month period. The only downside to Sky is its longer plans, which compared to the above 24-month iD Mobile plan, it's a much longer contract at a minimum 36-months.

Sky launches offer on Samsung Galaxy mobile and it comes with £259 worth of freebies

The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is now available for £23 a month - but you'll need to be quick if you want to snap up the deal, as it ends on March 24, 2025 Samsung fans can now spread the cost of a new handset, with the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE available for a monthly fee of £23 at Sky, complete with freebies totalling £259. The network provider's offer includes £100 cashback scheme and a complimentary pair of Galaxy Buds3 worth £159. This deal is part of Samsung's cashback promotion, where the £100 cashback is valid until 24 June 2025. The free Buds3 offer ends the following day on 25 June 2025. It's available to shoppers in a choice of mint, blue, graphite, or yellow. And when it comes to storage, it starts at the same as the standard S24, with a 128GB. The Samsung S24 FE has 'Photo Assist', an AI-led functionality proposing instant photo improvements. Not forgetting 'Generative Edit' for image alterations such as moving, deleting, or altering the size of objects, reports the Mirror. The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE has a 6.7-inch screen, coupled with a versatile triple camera setup at the back. It can also withstand IP68 water and dust resistance. On the phone's camera, tech journalist Chris Hall said: "When it comes to the cameras, you have a 50-megapixel main camera. "This has an ultrawide and telephoto lens on the back with 3x optical zoom. "That's the complete package, and while it's not as good as a flagship phone, you're well catered for. "The day-to-day experience is much the same, with the same One UI software and Galaxy AI features." Other retailers are offering freebies and competitive pricing. At Amazon, buyers can purchase the phone outright for £598. They will also get a complimentary Galaxy Watch 7 and cashback. The Samsung official website has the phone priced at £649 without any additional offers. Reviewing the Samsung S24 FE's overall performance, Chris continued: "The great thing about the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is that you get an experience that's really close to the Galaxy S24+." He notes that although the S24 FE is heavier and slightly larger, with a lower display resolution it boasts the same size AMOLED display as the S24+. However, there are some drawbacks. He said: "It's not quite as powerful and the battery is a little smaller, but it's more affordable, and that's the point." Meanwhile, GiffGaff offers various monthly contracts for the S24 FE starting from £18.03 for a 36-month contract, with an upfront fee of £20.
