Greene Co. gets approved for tornado assistance
GREENE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Greene County has received the approved Small Business Administration Agency Declaration for Indiana, concerning assistance for the recent tornado victims, according to Roger Axe, Director of Greene County Emergency Management Agency.
Residents still in need after tornado
On an SBA Agency Declaration, counties are eligible to apply for physical damage disaster loans for homes and businesses and economic injury disaster loans for businesses. Brown, Jackson, Lawrence, Morgan and Owen Counties have also received the SBA Agency Declaration.
A Disaster Loan Outreach Center will be in Sherwood Oaks Christian Church, 2700 E Roger Rd, Bloomington, Indiana. Axe said they are prepared to open as early as Tuesday, June 3 if the state agrees.
