Disability and Dating: Looking for Love

Alex Reimers Also Joining the conversation is Megan Walsh - researcher at Murdoch Children's Research Institute and experienced speech pathologist who specialises in working with people who use Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC). Megan discusses how people who use AAC are often excluded from romantic opportunities due to harmful misconceptions and infantilisation and offers insight into what needs to change to create a more inclusive dating world. There's so much that we can all learn from the way disabled people have sex and the way disabled people go about dating.
