Moment naked man is tackled to floor by furious Tube passengers after dropping his trousers in middle of packed carriage
SHOCKING footage shows the moment a naked man is tackled to the floor by furious Tube passengers. The man, who was wearing headphones and a white t-shirt, dropped his trousers in the middle of a packed carriage in London yesterday. 4 4 Stunned commuters watched on as the chaotic scene unfolded on the District Line at around 3.30pm. The naked man began yelling as the train stopped at Upton Park before video showed him dropping his trousers and holding his belt. Repulsive footage shows him with his privates fully on show, sparking concern from passengers including families with children on school summer holidays. One brave man then stood up and firmly told him: 'You need to get off the train." But the naked man, still with trousers round his ankles, lashed back. He shouted 'f*** off!' and refused to leave or cover up his bottom or genitals. The commuter replied: "What do you mean f*** off. You need to get off the f***ing train. Now. There are kids on here!" The naked man appears increasingly aggressive before more courageous members of the public decided to make a move. With no sign of help, other furious commuters took matters into their own hands with the man still exposed as children sat nearby. A group of men surrounded the man, demanding: 'Pull your f***ing trousers up!' But the man appeared to lash out, swinging his belt as a violent scuffle erupted. Chaotic moment man 'chases passenger through packed tube station in terrifying broad-daylight attack' He appeared to be punched and kicked before being wrestled to the floor. Footage then shows the naked man pinned down with his arm twisted behind his back as passengers shouted: 'We've got to get him off!' Shocked witnesses watched on as he was pinned to the floor of the carriage by the heroic strangers. As the Tube pulled into East Ham station, the naked man was unceremoniously carried on to the platform and dumped to the floor. He was then pinned down once more as the commuters tried to alert staff. The suspect's belt was taken off him and hurled away on the platform by an angry commuter. Bewildered onlookers waiting for the tube watched on as the chaotic scenes unfolded in broad daylight. British Transport Police have said they are investigating the incident. The suspect has been detained under the mental health act. A spokesman said: "Officers were called to reports of a man exposing himself on the District Line at East Ham Underground station at around 3.30pm yesterday. "The man had been assaulted by a number of other passengers and was initially arrested by an off duty officer, before being detained under the mental health act and taken to hospital where he remains. "An investigation into the incident is ongoing."

Moment car speeds at pedestrian missing him by inches before ploughing into lamppost
SHOCKING footage shows the moment a car missed a pedestrian by inches before ploughing into a lamppost. The chaos was caught on camera by David Lloyd Jones in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, in August 2024. 4 4 A man in pink shorts is seen sprinting down the pavement as a car speeds after him in the video. But instead of staying on the road the blue motor mounts the curb in hot pursuit of the pedestrian. Footage shows the vehicle smashing into a bin before slamming into a lamppost - just inches from the fleeing man. The man then turns around and appears to be pointing and laughing despite the near miss. But he quickly runs off again as the driver unwedges his car from between the road sign and wall. Debris from the front of the car falls to the floor as he reverses away from the smash. The man in shorts has already run out of shot at this point as the driver of the blue car puts his foot on the accelerator. Footage shows him racing around at speed while shocked bystanders watched on. David said: "I filmed a bunch of people flipping out. I didn't know them." He was heard saying in the video: "Man that was crazy. That was some madness. "That's some of the craziest s*** I've seen." It's not clear if the two men knew each other. The police have been contacted for comment. It comes after a car was seen reversing into a pedestrian before ploughing into them a second time last month. One local watched on in horror as they filmed the incident, as the pedestrian was launched into the air by the force of the crash. In the video, a white car with a sunroof can be seen swerving around a second black car - slamming into a pedestrian in the process. The unnamed walker in orange was knocked to the ground by the impact whilst a woman can be heard shouting in Tower Hamlets, in London. Then, the vehicle drove into the man again which propelled him into the air. As he hit the ground, the woman can be seen trying to pry open the car door whilst shouting: 'Open this f***ing car!' One man wearing blue shorts immediately bolted from the vehicle and escaped on foot. Meanwhile, a man in grey robes silently waited next to the vehicle. 4
