May 23 South Africa (Fairview) form analysis
Race 1 (1,200m) (1) DANISH DYNAMITE showed signs of inexperience on debut and was beaten by an in-form experienced rival. She should improve and go one better this time. (6) SILVAN MISTRESS appears a difficult ride but is a big danger if things fall into place for her. (2) DARLINGBUDSOFMAY ran in a decent field on debut and can improve and contest the finish this time. (9) ZUMSEE is capable of improvement and could be more competitive this time around. Race 2 (1,200m) (1) WILD APPLAUSE has been a disappointment in that she has yet to win a race but she does look likely to go one better this time for Justin Snaith. (11) STAR OF ELENA has ability. Will be a threat to her elders. (2) CLEVER CANDY has improved at this centre and should contest the finish once again. (3) MIDNIGHT MUSIC showed improvement on local debut. Can do even better this track and trip. Race 3 (1,200m) (9) ELUSIVE BLACK returns from a break and has his first run for trainer Gavin Smith. He has been gelded. If fit and well, he could be better than his rivals. (14) ROYAL KINGDOM has been good so far. Can be in the finish. (1) GREEN OKRA changed trainers. Can be in the finish this time. (2) PYRO EDITION makes his local debut and can make significant improvement. Race 4 (1,200m) (8) SWISS PARADISE quickened nicely to win on local debut. This distance is not really a problem and she can follow up but it is a very open handicap. (4) HUGSANDHIGHFIVES returned to form with a narrow win and is capable of following up. (3) SMASHING and (2) KILMONIVAIG are both in good form and have to be included in all bets. Race 5 (1,000m) (9) SPEED RACER ran well above his rating when chasing home easy and impressive winner Mercantour. He can go one better this time. (1) ANUSCHKA'S WORLD is usually very competitive and should fight out the finish. He does give away chunks of weight to his rivals. (2) EVIES FIRST is unreliable but quite capable of contesting the finish. (3) CLIFF TOP has not won for some time but is always capable of earning some money. Race 6 (1,400m) (3) SILVER FALCON is distance-suited and well drawn. He has not won for a while but can score at any time. (1) MERCANTOUR has improved under the care of trainer Alan Greeff and can follow up on a very easy last win. (6) GOLDEN LINK struggled over further last time but has been at his very best around this distance and is not out of it. (8) DESTINY'S ANGEL needed his last run and could show significant improvement. Race 7 (1,000m) (12) HAPPY HOLLY was a very good juvenile. She has not been as good this year but a return to the turf should bring out the best in her. (7) TRIP TO MAPUTO and (6) KYALAMI GIRL have both made their way from the Western Cape and would not be surprise winners. (5) ELLORIX is also not out of it. Race 8 (1,600m) (6) GOT THE FEVER makes her local debut and could improve. (9) IN THE GREEN ZONE returned to form back on the grass last time and could follow up. (11) COURAGEOUS is also capable of running well. (4) COULDITBE has a winning chance in this line-up.

May 12 South Africa (Fairview) form analysis
Race 1 (1,400m) Inexperience seems to have cost (1) BAROLO in both her starts so far. She should go one better this time. (8) SILVAN MISTRESS is probably looking for further but should be right there at the finish once again. (3) DREAM TEAM was a couple of lengths behind that rival last time out and will need to improve to beat her, but she can play a minor role. (9) VINO RIOJA makes her debut and could earn some money. Race 2 (1,200m) (8) CLEVER CANDY showed good improvement when a close-up third on debut. She may need further than this but she can win. (1) GRAND ALLEGRO was too far back last time and did well to finish as close to the winner as he did. He should be very competitive again. (7) ALADO'S HABIT is also capable of earning some money. (3) BROOKSIDER is capable of getting in the mix of things as well. Race 3 (1,600m) (1) MR FOX is still showing signs of inexperience and a switch to the Polytrack could coax a victory out of him. (2) CHEERFUL CHARLIE B was not far behind that rival last time but can get involved with the finish again. (3) BOMBER BAY returned to sprinting last time but could be better over this distance. (4) FIZZLY BUBBLY can improve being on the Polytrack for the first time. Race 4 (1,600m) (6) GREENLIGHT LEGEND backed out of the stalls at the worst possible moment and a false start was declared. She has won full of running in two local starts on the turf and can score again if she is as good on this surface. (7) BOSNAY is unreliable but was only out of it late last time. She has a winning chance. (10) MISTER WHISTLE and (9) PISCES are both in good shape and can earn more money. Race 5 (1,000m) (2) DRESSEDTOTHENINES clearly needed her last run and can bounce back to score. (4) SWEET JULIA makes her local debut but does have a winning chance. (8) SWISS PARADISE makes her local debut and would not be a surprise winner. (7) MEDITERANEANGODDES is very speedy and can threaten over this course and distance. Race 6 (1,200m) Trainer Alan Greeff has a very strong hand in this race. Jockey Richard Fourie sticks with (1) WHATEVER NEXT but it is (5) MASKED VIGILANTE who gets the preference. He has won three times from five starts on the Polytrack and is suited to this course and distance. Whatever Next is not an easy ride these days but should fight it out again. (9) SWISS WALT has improved of late and is another one to consider, as well as (7) SILVONIAN. Race 7 (1,400m) (2) CHILI BOMB has improved of late and could complete a hat-trick. (3) CHAMPONELLE remains at the top of her game and was an easy winner last time, so she could double up. (4) FINAL EDITION is the other Greeff runner with winning chances. Rival trainer Gavin Smith has (7) CHARLIE MALONE who ran on well to win his latest start. Race 8 (1,900m) (5) FLIGHT DISPLAY has only been beaten once in her three local starts and that was by a good filly last time. (1) CALL TO GLORY is in good shape but has a difficult draw for her jockey to overcome. (3) FAR REACHING makes her local debut and is trying the Polytrack, but she does have ability and can score. (6) GET IT DONE is always a threat on this surface.
