Himalayan glaciers melt focus of climate meet
Compiled by TAN SIN CHOW AND R. ARAVINTHAN PUPILS from SJK(T) Taman Permata in Dengkil, Selangor, won six gold medals at an international innovation competition, Malaysia Nanban reported. Six teams from the school – comprising pupils from Year Two to Year Six – won medals at the 3rd International Invention and Innovation Competition 2025. The event, organised by the Malaysia Innovation, Invention and Creativity Association (Miica), was held at Akademi Seni Budaya and Warisan Kebangsaan in Kuala Lumpur. The school's headmaster Ravi Subramaniam congratulated the pupils and thanked science teacher Saraswathy Munian for training the winning teams. Their success was made sweeter by Saraswathy also winning an award at the event. She was one of the 20 teachers worldwide who received the best teacher award in various categories from 381 teachers who were nominated.
