Headmaster dies after being found unconscious in Tampin school
TAMPIN: A headmaster of a vernacular school was pronounced dead at a health clinic after being found unconscious in her office earlier on Sunday. According to Sinar Harian, the 44-year-old female principal of SJKC Kampung Baru Gedok, who was to attend an Entrepreneurs' Day event at the school, had earlier complained of feeling unwell before she decided to rest in her office briefly. Tampin MP Datuk Mohd Isam Mohd Isa said he was supposed to officiate the event at 11am but was informed of the principal's death by his officers an hour earlier. "I was told that before the deceased was found unconscious in her office, she complained of suffering some discomfort to another teacher and had wanted to rest in her room. However, when a teacher went to check on her later, the deceased was found unconscious. She was then taken to the Gemencheh health clinic, where she was pronounced dead. She had served at the school for just eight months and was previously with SJKC Air Kuning," he told Sinar Harian. Isam said the news was a shock to him as he had met the deceased at his office just a week ago. He said that according to the deceased's husband, the woman did not have a history of any health conditions.
