Santa Rosa County District Schools launches virtual courses for some students
SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — Santa Rosa County District Schools has announced that it is launching virtual courses for students enrolled in two programs.

Students enrolled in the Florida Empowerment Scholarship or Private Education Providers programs are eligible for the virtual courses.
'This new initiative provides students with high-quality, flexible, and accessible learning options tailored to their education goals,' a release from SRCDS said.
Students in grades 3-5 and 6-12 can enroll in either full-time or part-time virtual courses that cover all core areas of content and multiple languages, including Japanese, American Sign Language, and more.
The virtual courses' benefits, according to the release, include:
Enhance educational goals with a high-quality curriculum
Expand learning opportunities beyond the traditional classroom
Prepare for future success with a strong academic foundation
Learn from highly effective and experienced educators.
