Extension of periodicity of Hubballi-Rameswaram train
Hubballi: The railway board has approved to extend the periodicity of Train No. 07355/07356 SSS Hubballi – Rameswaram – SSS Hubballi weekly special express, with short-termination at Ramanathapuram, instead of Rameswaram, due to operational constraints over southern railway. The train will continue to run with the existing composition, timings, and stoppages. Train No. 07355 SSS Hubballi – Rameswaram Weekly Express Special, earlier notified to run up to Aug 30, will now be extended to run up to Sept 27 for four trips, with its destination curtailed to Ramanathapuram. Similarly, Train No. 07356 Rameswaram – SSS Hubballi Weekly Express Special, earlier notified up to Aug 31, will now run from Sept 7 to 28 for four trips, originating from Ramanathapuram instead of Rameswaram. Bengaluru–Belagavi Vande Bharat service to begin today: Route, timings, fares and stops
The new Bengaluru–Belagavi Vande Bharat Express, flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will begin commercial service on 11 August. Covering 611 km in 8 hours 20 minutes, it will run six days a week with stops at Yesvantpur, Tumakuru, Davangere, Haveri, Hubballi and Dharwad. Operated by South Western Railway, the train offers AC Chair Car and Executive Chair Car options, with fares from ₹1,575 to ₹2,955 inclusive of catering charges. Tired of too many ads? Changes in train services due to doubling work between Almatti and Bagalkot
Hubballi: In connection with commissioning of the doubling work between Almatti–Jadramakunti–Mugalolli–Bagalkot, which is part of the 35-km doubling of the Vijayapura–Bagalkot section, the following changes will be made to train services. The following trains will be cancelled: Train No. 11415 Solapur – Hosapete Daily Express, from Aug 14 to 23; and Train No. 11416 Hosapete – Solapur Daily Express, from Aug 15 to 24. SWR to run express special train between SMVT Bengaluru and Belagavi
Hubballi: To clear the extra rush of passengers, South Western Railway will run an express special train between SMVT Bengaluru and Belagavi for four trips in each direction. Train No. 06551 SMVT Bengaluru–Belagavi Express Special will depart from SMVT Bengaluru at 7pm on Aug 7, 9, 14, and 16 and reach Belagavi at 8.25am the next day. Train No. 06552 Belagavi–SMVT Bengaluru Express Special will depart from Belagavi at 5.30pm on Aug 8, 10, 15, and 17 and reach SMVT Bengaluru at 5am the next day. En route, it will stop at the following stations in both directions: Chikbanavar, Tumakuru, Arsikere, Birur, Davanagere, Harihar, SMM Haveri, SSS Hubballi, Dharwad, Alnavar, Londa, and Khanapur. It will have 20 coaches comprising two AC 2-tier coaches, three AC 3-tier coaches, 10 sleeper class coaches, three second class coaches, and two luggage-cum-brakevan with a disabled-friendly compartment. Special unreserved train services between Hubballi and Pandharpur for Ashada Ekadashi
Hubballi: In view of the heavy rush of devotees during the Ashada Ekadashi festival, South Western Railway announced the operation of special unreserved train services between Shri Siddharoodha Swamiji, Hubballi, and Pandharpur. These trains are intended to facilitate smooth travel for pilgrims participating in the annual celebrations. Train No. 07313 SSS Hubballi–Pandharpur Unreserved Special will depart from Hubballi at 5.10am and reach Pandharpur at 4am the same day, with en route halts at Dharwad, Alnavar, Londa, Khanapur, Desur, Belagavi, Pachhapur, Gokak Road, Ghatprabha, Chikodi Road, Raybag, Chinchli, Kudachi, Ugar Khurd, Shedbal, Vijayanagar, Miraj, Arag, Dhalgaon, Jath Road, Wasud, and Sangola. Train No. 07314 Pandharpur–SSS Hubballi Unreserved Special will depart from Pandharpur at 6pm and arrive at Hubballi at 4am the next day, halting at the same stations in reverse order. The special train will comprise 10 coaches involving 8 general second class and 2 second class luggage-cum-brake vans/disabled coaches. Train No. 17334 Castle Rock – Miraj Express will be temporarily extended to run up to Pandharpur. The service will operate between Castle Rock and Pandharpur from July 4 to 9. There will be no change in timings between Castle Rock and Vijayanagar. In the extended portion, the train will arrive/depart Miraj at 12.20am/12.50am, reaching Pandharpur at No. 17331 Miraj – SSS Hubballi Express will be temporarily extended to originate from Pandharpur instead of Miraj. The service from Pandharpur to SSS Hubballi will run from July 5 to 10. The train will depart from Pandharpur at 4am, arrive at Miraj at 6.45am, and depart at 7.15am, with no change in timings from Vijayanagara to Hubballi.
