Kolar police nab bike thief from Andhra Pradesh
Kolar: Police in the Gulpet area arrested a person involved in a series of two-wheeler thefts across Kolar district and recovered 11 stolen vehicles worth Rs 22.2 lakh.
The accused, identified as S Subhan, a native of Venkatagirikota in Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh, was nabbed while attempting to steal a bike.
With back-to-back incidents of two-wheeler thefts in Kolar, SP B Nikhil formed a special team led by circle inspector Lokesh MJ and PSI Vittal Talavar for the case.
Acting on specific inputs, the team zeroed in on Subhan and took him into custody. During interrogation, he confessed to stealing multiple vehicles from different locations in the district.

Police recovered 11 two-wheelers, including six Royal Enfield motorcycles, which were reportedly sold to buyers in Andhra Pradesh. Subhan was remanded to judicial custody, and further investigation is underway to trace other accomplices and recover other vehicles.
