Inclusive swimming lessons to be introduced at popular leisure complex
THE Waterfront Leisure Complex has announced it will introduce ASN swimming lessons.
Inverclyde Leisure say the new sessions are specifically for children aged five to 16 with additional support needs.
The weekly lessons will be led by instructor Linda and will provide a "fun, supportive" environment for youngsters.
The classes will follow the STA Rockhopper Award pathway and feature colourful badges for every milestone.
They will take place on Tuesdays from 6pm to 6.30pm and each child will be accompanied in the pool by a parent or guardian.
The lessons cost £28.99 per month, the same price as the regular group lessons.
A waiting list is currently being established for those interested in the new sessions, however, each class will be limited to a maximum of 10 children.
